Why did PM Sharif meet the leader of the World Zionist movement?

And you believe this fool who advocates Obama's assassination? :D
Michael Scheuer’s Meltdown - The Daily Beast

No, he is in fact a mirror of this nation :D

Sounds like why PMLN has problems with IK. :D

Because nation has lost all trust in Noora after his rigging.

Because Zionists control entire world's money flow, remember! I am calling a few of them here to teach you a big lesson :D

@Derolo @Archdemon @Natan @500 @MarkovChain @LeveragedBuyout @Solomon2 @F-15I

LOL. Sarcasm at its best :D

He never did.

But moving beyond that to the bigger issue, anyone who goes to investment institutions (even those located in Muslim countries) speaking like Ahmadinejad and ranting about Jews will attract very little investment. It's unprofessional (and insane). And contrary to popular belief, not everything is a conspiracy theory, and despite the Jew hatred that is all too endemic in the Muslim world, I have found no such reciprocation from the Jewish world (i.e. Jews are willing to put aside sectarian conflicts to invest based on the merits). It's a loss for the Muslim world, not investors, to inject religion and politics into this process, because capital-intensive investment is the most efficient catalyst for development (as proven by Japan, then the Asian Tigers, then China).

That's my only comment on this thread (and any other like it). It's embarrassing to have to even address such a childish way of thinking.

There is a Synagogue right down the road from me in Hong Kong.

Am I in danger? :P

Just kidding. I had a half-Israeli half-French friend actually (I went to an International school) when I was growing up. Of course they are human beings like the rest of us.

But it was only on this forum that I started hearing the word "Zionist" in such a common fashion. I would like to know more about it though, since it appears a significant portion of the world population has similar views.

Zionism isn't a religion. Most Zionists are atheists. Not all zionists are of Jewish ancestry

But Kissinger definitely is one, right?

No doubt they see our economic growth and see an opportunity in it.

I think we just bought the largest food producer in Israel recently. Though the real prize will be Israeli "water management" technology, that's an area of key interest for us.

@Norwegian Jeez, you love to drag me into uncomfortable threads. Of course I view the "Zionist puppet-master" and "Elders of Zion" conspiracy theories with scorn. And claiming that Soros and Brzezinski (!!!) are Zionists is just cringe-worthy and discredits the whole discussion.

No one is peddling the 'elders of Zion' BS here. You have great knowledge of the financial industry, you might be able to shed some light on the role of Lehman Brother's role in regards to the GFC.

Anything you need to know about the global financial industry, ask @LeveragedBuyout and he'll give you the best answer.

My issue with both Kissinger and Brzezinski is related to what they did to my country than anyone else.

As i said, as long as you are buying and not selling, and in control of your banks and financial sectors, you are safe.

Heh, this thread is quite the tar baby.

I don't claim any expertise on this, and politics has a way of corrupting language (e.g. "liberal" in the United States now means exactly the opposite of its original meaning, which is still understood in the rest of the world as "free from government." That's why the Australian Liberal Party is the conservative party there). Similarly, "Zionist" just means someone who supports the establishment of a Jewish homeland in the area we now call Israel. Thus non-Jews can be Zionists (and indeed, the major support for Israel in the US comes from Evangelical Christians, not American Jews!), and Jews can be anti-Zionists.

The image of the "Zionist" in the Muslim world is not an issue I am well equipped to discuss, except to say that based on what I read here and elsewhere from Muslims, they have a definition that seems much closer to "Jew" than the actual definition. America has managed to escape the sickness of anti-Semitism for the most part, so I can't say why the rest of the world seems to have such a problem with Jews; I guess you would have to ask a Jew hater for an explanation.

We are not really talking about Jews or Zionists in general, but Zionists with incredible amount of money and power in their hands. If you could mix your knowledge of financial industry with your govt's foreign policy you would understand what i am pointing out to.

Zionism is Jewish Nationalism plain and simple. Muslims of PDF are obsessed with it just like Indians are obsessed with Pakistani nationalism because they cannot understand or grasp its true nature :D

Zionism isn't a religion. Most Zionists are atheists. Not all zionists are of Jewish ancestry
Zionism is a political ideology. What has this to do anything with religion or ancestry of person supporting it? I am a proud Muslim Zionist. So what? Does this make me a traitor? :D

No doubt they see our economic growth and see an opportunity in it.
You are forgetting it was "Zionist" Kissinger that opened trade relations with completely locked China back in the 70's that led to consequent economic boom as we see it today:
Henry Kissinger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My issue with both Kissinger and Brzezinski is related to what they did to my country than anyone else.
"Zionist" Kissinger opened China for outside investment. He personally turned China into a superpower in competition with almighty US. He wanted Israel to bleed during Yom Kippur war:
Henry Kissinger - Conservapedia

That's why people still believe he is a "Zionist" :D

Correct. Muslims equate Zionism with Judaism or Jews, when in fact its exactly the opposite. You can be a supporter of Muslim nationalism (Pakistan movement) without being a Muslim, why can't one support Jewish nationalism (Zionist movement) without being a Jew?
