Why couldn't Pakistan produce a great emperor?

But the question is will Pakistan own him? Wouldn't it go against the whole two nation theory? The thing is one can't be forced into acknowledging or praising someone whom they don't like or want to.
o own him he was our ruler from our land . abut ALBAKISTANIS they are free to start their history from mohmmad bin qasim till 1857 and then again restart from 1947 . but i own this land from 8000 years or more

@Gufi - Pakistan did produce one.... mujhee kissiii nei recognize hiii nahin kiyaa ! :(

There was no Pakistan before 1947 so this question is like why didn't west Bengal didn't produces a great emperor.

The Ottomans produced stable empire that ruled from 1299 to 1923. While the Mughaln only lasted from 1556 to 1857.

The OP is correct that no emperor or King came from Pakistan , the time of emperors and kings was long over by 1947 , when modern day Pakistan was born

Before 1947 , if we go back many 1000 years then we had one of the earliest civilised society the IVC , which was associated with farming and trade, there is no indication that IVC functioned like a kingdom , which is good

If we go back a few 100 years, then our land was part of various feuding kingdoms

We can say that in recent history , up until modern day Pakistan was born , we were the garrison and the garinery and after 1947 while we have retained the characteristic of being the grainery and the garrison we have also grown to become a nuclear power

Our birth , our faith and our ability to tear the rear of our enemies in present times is ultimately the cause of great heart ache to the enemies which makes them wonder how and why this came about

Because we weren't Barbarians who killed thousands in their thirst for power. All the emperors by no definitions were great. They were power hungry SOBs who killed for sake of throne. Our lands produced great saints, scientists and philosophers rather than Ashokas and Thokas.
