Because emotion and ego matter more in their society than facts and credibility.

I eventually find one thread on PDF that people from China, Pakistan and India are all agreeing with: Modi is a great leader and he should stay on his position forever!

Why China Is Winning Against India.

There
are several global developments jostling for the world’s attention right now—the upcoming inauguration of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden, Britain’s exit from the European Union, a worrying hack of U.S. government systems, and the race to administer coronavirus vaccines across the planet. Amid these major news stories, the 8-month-old military standoff in the Himalayas between Asia’s two biggest countries, China and India, has fallen off the radar of global concern. While pundits agree that Asia is the site of an ongoing shift in the global power balance, what gets little attention is how New Delhi’s reworking of military priorities—forced by events on the disputed Sino-Indian border—will have far-reaching geopolitical consequences for the world.

The past year’s skirmishes between India and China are often described by commentators as a stalemate. While this may be literally true, two factors should alter that perception. First, China has far deeper pockets, especially after a year in which it has bounced back from the coronavirus pandemic while India has fallen into a recession. And second, Beijing has forced New Delhi to focus on securing its land borders at the cost of its strategic military transformation, handing China a clear long-term advantage.

There are no easy answers to India’s China problem.

In contrast, China is already constructing its third aircraft carrier, as part of the Chinese navy’s plans for six carriers by 2035. Beijing’s defense budget is nearly four times that of India and its economy six times bigger—a gap that has widened during the pandemic. China’s army is the largest standing ground force in the world, with 1.5 times more active military personnel than India in its ranks. As the U.S. Defense Department acknowledges, China has marshaled the resources, technology, and political will over the past two decades to strengthen and modernize its military in nearly every respect. Unlike India, the Chinese economy, military, and political leadership have the capacity to bear the burden of the prolonged deployment and maintenance of large bodies of troops in the extremely inhospitable conditions of Ladakh.

It would not have been difficult for Beijing to predict New Delhi’s current predicament. For years, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been obsessed with hyping minor operations against Pakistan to reap electoral benefits, putting on the back burner the military transformation required to deal with a rising China. With India’s economy now having entered a recession, such a major reform has become an impossibility. There are no easy answers to India’s China problem. Unless there is a dramatic shift in New Delhi’s thinking, its cure of the Ladakh border crisis may end up being worse than the disease—and that’s exactly what Beijing wants.

Explaining why China is winning against india is like saying why America is winning against Pakistan..............

Modi is a monumentally ignorant and deluded strategist and the results speak for themselves. He should put down the Bhagavad Gita and read the Art of War for once.

can he even read?.... he was a tea boy by qualification

I think Pakistan has more chances 8-)

India needs the great strategy how to develop economy first. China knows British always creates issues before they had to leave. But China couldn't afford to follow the trap. So China had to beat India in 1962 to make India quiet and forgot about to control Tibet. The problems with Pakistan and China cost India. Unless India learned that sometimes losing is gaining. China was able to settle down the border issues with 12 out of 14 countries. Most times China shares with others halfway or even less. China offered many times to settle LAC as border but India refused. I think it is not wise. If China were USA or Russia, India would have loose all of those regions. China lost much more lands to Russia but now they are best buddies. Geopolitics is just a game. Without settled down with Russia on border issues, China won't be able to cut down the military budgets and use the money for educatuon and economic development back in 1980-1990's.

An egg do not put against a rock. India is precisely that egg against the rock(China)
Indians are extremely confident.

The Chinese wonder why Indians have enigmatic confidence.
Indian r very artificial people. A group of people who emphasize on surface and not inner. They think that by mentally beating u is enough to make them winner and feel good even though they r physically badly wounded.

What they try to achieve is mental victory. By winning the impression that they beat u is enough. Achieving the physical victory result is redundant.

On an individual basis, Chinese and Indians, at least the elite ones who come to the West, share a lot in common. They invest in good educations for their kids, they work hard and save money and invest. But when it comes to a societal wide level, Chinese society is very focused on substance while India is focused on the superficial. I wonder why that is?

More to do with inferiority complex. If they really need to win Chinese. It will take at least 3 decades of hard work and planning to do it. They are impatient and want immediate result after all, they start off same time of economy reform with China. But clearly lack behind in China now. They feel helpless in such situations and need mental victory to ease such wounded ego.

India will never beat China unless a calamity of historic proportions happens to China.

Indian society is too divided and stratified. There are far too many social, religious and ethnic divisions. The elites see the poor as subhumans. In China, the elites and the poor are of the same family, like most other European/East Asian societies, and this is a big reason why these societies tend to reach higher HDI.

because its India which was invaded by insignificant armies throughout her history with a little resistance....China has a significant army so there was no resistance at all, take her as you desire

The two diasporas are indeed similar, but that's because the Indian diaspora is the very top of Indian society and they have these values in spite of their incompatibility with Indian values, while the Chinese diaspora is far more typical Chinese than heavily drawn from the elite. They just have typical Chinese values.

China:India GDP ratio - 6:1

USA:Imperial Japan GDP ratio - 4:1
Syria + Egypt + Jordan: Israel GDP ratio: 2:1 (in 1965)

Of course, India isn't Israel, but it's to just illustrate that size and GDP isn't everything. If GDP was that significant, North Korea would have gotten crushed even with China's support and Pakistan would already have gotten steamrolled. But then again, this thread is probably meant to used by everyone to put their old, unfunny, recycled jokes and shit on India. Carry on.
