Why Cameron should thank Pakistan

very very true, India is a victim of terror, others are only getting bitten by what they bred.

Indeed, India is the victim and the rest of the world especially Pakistan is the aggressor in this case. Its pure bull sh** that India supported separatist groups in East Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Its absolute hogwash that Indians are supporting separatist elements inside Balochistan. Its also complete bull crap that India supported the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, just propaganda released by the Evil ISI designed to slander the Great and Self Righteous Nation like India. Its only because of India's generosity that Pakistan even exists because the Super Martian Indian Armed Forces would capture Islamabad in 2 hours.

Phewww, the Indian propaganda has done its job well :agree:

lol your post actually made me gigle lol

leaving everything else out, Yes India is a victim of terror and continues to be. I dont want to talk about 1971 or Sri Lanka as both have been discussed to death on other threads. The topic was whether Cameron needs to thank Pakistan and the answer is NO.

How about some gratitude? That is the question Pakistanis can be forgiven for asking.
From the American point of view it appears that Pakistani leaders care less about their own population and country's stability than they do about using America as a cow to be milked as needed. Pakistani-trained terrorists are the cow fodder.

Furthermore, there is always the suspicion that Pakistan and the U.S.-led coalition have been working towards different ends in Afghanistan. The Coalition wants to build a democratic structure, whereas Pakistan appears to be seeking a situation more like the Afghanistan of the 1990s - I suspect not the Taliban but as before a hateful terror-supporting tyranny with an Afghan face that can only survive in the face of a hostile populace because it receives Pakistani military aid and is staffed with Pakistani civil servants.

Of course, I might be wrong. I'd like it if Pakistanis could try to convince me.

What Mr. Cameron says or does matters none at all. What matters is when our President goes running to his country and shakes his hands. That is what grinds my gears. It was like bigot-fest in England recently.

Priceless...
Your actions in Kashmir deserve gifts and flowers, don't they?

The Coalition wants to build a democratic structure
Correction. A "democratic structure" that serves Western needs. Democracy anywhere is of no use to the US or its allies if it goes against their interests. "Hateful terrorists" work just fine when its the America's Cold War nemesis that is on thee receiving end of the "hate".

For nearly a century now (since Woodrow Wilson) U.S. policy has been that democratic self-determination of peoples leads to peace, and that peace is in America's interest. The key limitation (as demonstrated by Nazi Germany, for example) is that it only applies if the people and their leaders stick with self-determination and reject the attractions of conquest and imperialism. Conquest and/or empire-building is something Pakistan's leaders have sought since 1965.

What a "whore" argument? As if the world did not suffer the terror attacks? Pakistan suffered tens of Mumbai like attacks in recent years yet your minister says 'do more' What kind of childish argument did you present? Indians should understand that Pakistanis are suffering everyday and instead of criticizing us, help us! You also suffer from "India Khapay" type phobia? Perhaps, your lot is anti Pakistan and Kashmir in particular.

Cameron was just buttering india noting more .... dont ever trust british they have aleady taken lot of our wealth .... india and pakistan...

Sad but true.. The terrorism has grown up as a business in international arena. Few gets profit from that, rest all suffer most important the common man suffers. Normal citizen of any country does not get involved in such business but some spy agencies/armed forces use it as covert ops with mix of rogues to train and utilize them...

The only problem with this game is when these dogs become too strong then they start biting their owners.. the cases are self explainatory.. OBL to USA .. Taliban to Pakistan or LTTE to India....

The democratic government of Iran has no intentions to create an empire. The democratically elected Palestinian Authority of Hamas also does not have any such plans.

On the other hand, the governments of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Brunei, the fraudulently elected government of Afghanistan and many more such governments are identified as some of America's "strongest allies". There certainly have been no serious efforts made by the American's or their friends to forcefully grant people within these countries the right of "self-determination". The people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, living under the "largest democracy on Earth", do not enjoy the basic rights of self-determination, and the American's have no issues with that at all.

So, really, what you're saying is that the West decides the legitimacy of a government, democratic or otherwise, based on their perception of it, and acts. Well, that is exactly what I'm saying.

Conquest and/or empire-building is something Pakistan's leaders have sought since 1965.
How hypocritical can one get? Your country is waging two wars thousands of kilometers away from home with, to be very polite, ill-defined reasons. And still you sit there and accuse us of aspirations of conquest? We, who have done nothing but taken steps to protect the boundaries of our country, are guilty of desires of empire-building whereas you, a country that has done nothing but wage war on foreign lands, are not?

You have, to say the least, a very interesting take on reality.
