Most NRIs in India are used to the grit of hardwork and known to utilise opportunities which strike them. In the sense, the smartest and the most resourceful often go out of the country. These people are intelligent and despite the lack of opportunities or the nepotism they suffered in India, they still love their country of origin, heart in heart. Most of their opportunities overseas has exposed them to very good practises in different areas which would actually benefit the country if considering their viewpoints in resolving major problems in India.

Also, easier OCI card means that wealthy NRIs can easily set up business here and move about freely which has a positive benefit for the economy.

We don't charge for our passport unlike US does, but those who hold OCI can do everything as an Indian except participate in holding a government office in India.
