Why blame Afghan men?

I know Afghanistan for the most part is a tribal society and a patriarchal society with various ethnicity scattered throughout different regions. There are tribal traditions and codes such as Paktunwali the Pakhtuns in Afghanistan follow, etc. Marriages there are mostly arranged, and the culture there is mostly conservative. What else would you like to know?

westren Half of your Pakistan is tribal, eastren half is feudal. The whole pakistani society is male-dominated, marraiges are arranged. And the worst crimes against women take place in all pakistan particularly in punjab where rapes, gang-rapes, burning, throwing acid on women, quran se shadi, kidnappings of women etc are daily news of newspaper. Have you ever seen nomad pashtuns called kochis? . First of all their women dont wear your symbol of oppression "burqa". Secondly they have equal role in taking care of camels, caravan, chores etc, thirdly they also keep guns like males. Few centuries ago nearly all pashtuns were nomads while afghanistan was ruled by turkic dynasties.
The fundamentalism of afghan society, is gift from hindostani muslim ulemas in 19th century. While the currunt religous extremism in the form of talibans is gift of pakistani state to afghans.

What are the odds that in another century or two, the kochi women, equal as they are, will still be happily participating in taking care of camels, caravans and chores?

I was not talking about progress and modernism, my post was in response to the point that women are oppressed and locked in homes by afghan men.

Actually its pakistanis who are notorious for marrying polish girls for citizenship in britian, there was a documentry about it on aaj tv.

You totally missed the point in my post.

I have no problem if Afghani or Pakistani married with polish, gori or whoever they wish. I was talking about different moral standards they set for themselves and for their women. If Islam dont allow pre-martial sex then it equally apply to men as well not just for women and same is true for hijab and others Islamic things which are not exclusive for women

Since it is men that lead nations it is only right that it is men who are blamed for the failure of their nation. I wanna say Afghan men have destroyed their nation but it was never good to begin with. If you carry the title "Graveyard of Empires" with honour and joy then their is something wrong with you.
