Why belittle the Russian military giant J-20?

Not this again. Here is what he actually said in other interviews.
PARIS: Russia's PAK-FA fighter shows promise

Asked for his professional opinion on China's J-20 stealth fighter unveiled in January, Pogosyan says: "You'd better ask the Chinese."

Pressed on whether he feels the aircraft is a genuine prototype or merely a technology demonstrator, he says: "China's aviation industry has achieved really significant progress. But on the other hand, to create a really competitive product is time-consuming, demands significant experience in the engineering field and experienced human resources."

Achievement does not stop being achievement just because someone praises or belittles it -- I hope the Chinese nation will always be humble, hard working and will value achievement highly.

Some Russians saying J20 is a super aircraft does not make it a super aircraft and some English saying that J20 is no good, does not make it trash - the fact of the matter is that the Chinese aerospace industry is learning and achieving.

(they forcefully captured hong kong and tibet hence list is little short cause we cannot include these two countries) .........

What a joke, you clearly don't know anything about my city of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is a Chinese city (95% Han Chinese) that was forcefully captured by the British, during the age of colonization. Read up about the opium wars.

Then we were rightfully transferred back to China, and peacefully too during the 1997 handover.

Some Indians are unbelievable. Why don't you try coming here to Hong Kong and saying that, see how quickly we throw you out.

O'really ?
The countries(pakistan, congo, iran, uganda etc ) interested in chinese weapons are the one's who not able to procure weapons from western countries or russia for reasons like cost, sanctions etc, chinese weapons are nothing in front of russians they have shitload of experience in this field !

again O'really ?

china has problems with india, japan, russia, south korea, vietnam, phillipenes, taiwan(they forcefully captured hong kong and tibet hence list is little short cause we cannot include these two countries) .........

lets us look at the allies of china (pakistan, north korea, srilanka, bangladesh) AKA brigade of failed states !

pakistan has problems with india,afganistan....

srilanka-bangladesh no one cares about them.

You do realize just how off-topic your post really is? Instead of trying to always go above everybody's head in every thread all the time, try to contribute something worthwhile to the subject.

By the way, the British handed over Hong Kong to China back in 1997.

India controls Sri Lanka and Bangladesh for all intents and purposes. Geographical proximity rules out any future change in the level of cooperation and/or influence. Its only in this forum you see dreamers from there claiming otherwise. Now go cry some more if you feel its unethical, i couldn't care less.

No. Now wake up from you dream and start living in real world.

'India controls BD' - lol thats funny. Too much bollywood.

In my opinion: Russia to belittle the Chinese J-20, in order to appease India. T-50 as India put in a lot of money, but to see the Chinese J-20 flight test frequently, the heart of India is very disturbing. T-50 is a export fighter, to belittle the Chinese J-20, in order to better sales of T-50.
The above is my understanding.

dude In dreams also India wont be thinking to buy J 20 even if its the best fighter jet in the world ... so why appease India ???

June 20, RIA Novosti reported that Russia's United Aircraft Group 20, said Pogosyan, president, China's fifth generation fighter development program is mainly to "frill" and not very meaningful. Pogo on the very day of the Paris Air Show, expressed China's fifth-generation fighter skepticism, he said, "China's J-20 is more of a show, not a true Five local projects."

Pogoysan never said anything like this. This is what he actually said:

The Russian media twisted his words around. Unfortunately the fake quote is still going around on most Chinese forums. The poor guy is taking a lot of flak.

guess you are wrong. Russia is competing directly with China in world weaponry market. They are for sure will ad down China product, and promote Russia product. It has nothing to do India. Because Russians never give a sh!t about India, which is only a cashcow to them.

cashcow??? Seriously??? What does that even mean???

India is a valued customer of russian products, and if the russians really dont give a sh!t about one of their best clients then they know less than nothing about marketing ( first law- customer is god )

Yeah, but their after sales support are terrible when it comes to supporting their birds at home

Good thing India is pretty much self-sufficient with its SU-30s, and possibly more so on the way with the FGFA.

Does no one every read my posts? What Pogyosan supposedly said was a fabrication by the Russian media. Why are we still arguing over this?

Its not like they would not like to maintain their aircrafts properly. They would very much like to.Afterall,if they can make some of the best aircrafts in the World, then they have the technical capability to maintain them as well. Its just that, they were poor in management of resources. They had such a big armed forces to cater to and with very limited funding. The entire armed forces was cash starved. Now that was the problem.
