They don't agree with the two state solution because the way you are splitting the land is like taking a whole apple, carving out some small tiny dot-like pieces out of it, and claiming the rest of it as yours.I don't know what his end plan is. It's dependent on the Palestinians. The Palestinians don't want a two state solution, they want Palestine and nothing else. Thus there will never be peace and we shouldn't give them anything because they will always want more.
Why would Israel give up territory when it's in a strong position? If anyone needs to give up something, it's the Palestinians. If there would be rocket attacks from the West Bank, it's game over. Our government, for some reasons, is the most fierce when the center is attacked.
It never was like that.
I'm sure that if you split Israel into two states of equal size, both having a coast with the Mediterranean Sea, a lot of Palestinians will be enticed to take that deal ASAP. But that's not what you are offering them. And you will never offer them that because as you said, you think you are in a stronger position and you can impose your will on them.
