What's new

Why are we so adamant in our support for Palestine when they themselves support India against us?

I don't know what his end plan is. It's dependent on the Palestinians. The Palestinians don't want a two state solution, they want Palestine and nothing else. Thus there will never be peace and we shouldn't give them anything because they will always want more.

Why would Israel give up territory when it's in a strong position? If anyone needs to give up something, it's the Palestinians. If there would be rocket attacks from the West Bank, it's game over. Our government, for some reasons, is the most fierce when the center is attacked.

It never was like that.
They don't agree with the two state solution because the way you are splitting the land is like taking a whole apple, carving out some small tiny dot-like pieces out of it, and claiming the rest of it as yours.

I'm sure that if you split Israel into two states of equal size, both having a coast with the Mediterranean Sea, a lot of Palestinians will be enticed to take that deal ASAP. But that's not what you are offering them. And you will never offer them that because as you said, you think you are in a stronger position and you can impose your will on them.

I am sure his son thinks the same.

it is the "Umma Chumma" lot that care about problems of other muslim countries rather than focusing attention on problems that are faced by Pakistan.

Jinnah said its an illegal occupation.

You secularists would have killed him if wasn't dying already of TB.

Ummah chummah. Palestines are like Afghans. They've screwed up every country they've been to. Just make peace with Israel and get it the f over with.

hahaha you must be the spokesman of Richer Ummah of gated communities then that you wish to establish contact with a gated country.

shabaash.

anything else? central Asian route for India and gas pipeline for Iran?

Frankly, the jews should have established their state in australia or canada, since the natives of those lands were already 'cleansed', the process of nation building would have proceeded smoothly, but delusions drawn from religious beliefs had to come into play and they chose to infest a tiny populated piece of land instead.

Interesting, we did hear rumours of a supposed plan to relocate palestenians to the western Iraqi province of Anbar, I suppose it is part of Israel's agenda.

How Ironic that neyenyaho's father would accuse Arabs of being unaccepting of others, when Arabs clearly proved otherwise by building many inclusive states across Islamic history, while the Jews only nation is effectively an apartheid.

Your 'territory' is subject to whatever land you have grabbed till now and does not define it constitutionally.

Moreover, the Palestinians may very well agree to a 2 state solution if you give them Jerusalem and they will ensure you have the rights as agreed with Umar.

The religious fanatics in Israel are existential threat to Israel more than anyone else.

I have the same view. The root cause of the Middle East conflict is the imposition of Israel in Arab lands. Jews need to understand God is not a real estate agent who gifted land to his chosen people. They needed a safe space from antisemitism, they could have had it in US or Argentina.

An even better solution would have been to establish a Jewish state inside Germany. After all, it wasn't the Arabs, Argentinians or Canadians who perpetuated the Holocaust.

Look. The Palestinians for their own sake should take what they're getting and stop this all or nothing approach. Otherwise Israel will keep eating up more land. Morals do not apply to Israel or the US in our hypocritical world and the Arab world isn't strong enough or determined enough to counter them. In the end, it's only the Palestinians who suffer. Pakistan should not get needlessly involved (other than Jerusalem), that's my whole gripe with the issue.

Yes. Agree.

Indeed, it is interesting though that while Israel's supposed ligitimacy is based on religion, Israel itself is hardly religious, infact Tel aviv is the LGBT capital of the middle east, which goes against the jewish faith.

I suppose its only religious when the time for annexing lands arrives.

Why don't you go and spend sometime as a tourist in Gaza and not form opinions by stereotypical fringe elements far removed from the land and suffering from stress and all sort of identity crisis borne out of 7 decades of war and plunder.

When Pakistan establishes contact with either of the parties, then you can preach what is a needful and what constitutes as needless.

Even then you don't have a say in Jerusalem no matter how much a great Muslim you become in Pakistan unless we share a border with them.

and stop telling people what is all or nothing for them.

The Jews as ethnic group has been popularised too, especially by "Reform/Secular" Jews.

Some totally unrelated groups got there because of the "ethnic group" myth :

Why don't you go spend some time as a tourist with an Ahmedi family in Rabwah or Narowal and see how they are treated by your own mard-e-momin fellow countrymen? Chal bay yeh Jamati lecture mere ooper mat jhaar. Pehle apne mulk mein bigotry sudhaaro phir dunya bhar ke mujahid banna.

True, but the concept of the 'promised land' and the return to that land and not any other land no matter how wealthier or larger is religious in nature.
It's also related to "Jews are safe nowhere", I have read Israel projects that how anti-Semitism around the world is rising - so Israel is the only safe land. Diaspora coming in strengthens the justification for annexation of new territories too.
