One word: Corruption

Everyone was so corrupt from top to bottom that they knew no one is going to stand and fight. Hence everyone tried to flee at the first chance.

How can a country without any economic structure whatsoever have a professional and disciplined army?

Kandahar police said before the city fell they hadn’t been paid in six to nine months, according to the Washington Post, making Taliban offers (again, money!) more tempting.

The question is, where do these Taliban recieve money for their operations.

Quite few things


1 Minor ethinc warlords were created in charge they had no loyalty to land itself.
You had people fighting to grow own influence and bank.
2 Corruption , you had thousands upon thousands of fake soldiers.
How much the money actually went into ANA, and Afghani military itself ? When you spent billion upons billions where is the actual hardware for that ? Top off the line fighters, tanks nothing uncle sam right from the start knew this would happen hence, Majority of funding via DOD went to directly contractor's.
3 Statehood majority of politicians were imposed on people specifically from minor ethnicities which created its own issues.
4 Creating Pakistan scape goat for everything only pushed people to actually stopped working from solving actual problems

US has been made the biggest fool of all times.

Talibs had infiltrated the Afghan army recruitment process from the outset.
They made internal connections. Used ethnic, religious and other tools to spread their message.
Outside forces (Pakistan, China, Russia) facilitated the Talibs.
They received paycheques.
At the right time they fizzled away.

The ANA were in it for the money and had no heart and mind for the army, the ANA soldiers knew they were on the wrong side with evil and were no match against people of Deen. It just wasn't a decisive defeat of the ANA but the whole European armies, NATO and the USA. The greatest defeat in the history of warfare and in human history. This defeat of colonialists made a mockery of technology, science , the modern art of warfare, white supremacy and colonialism. Against all odds the Mujahedeen achieved what was deemed impossible and crushed the enemy with simplicity and sincerity. The Taliban have shown that the fight for freedom reigns supreme and those who desire freedom can achieve it and that the towers of colonialism can come crushing down by the will of the people. Let this be a lesson for Palestine and Kashmir and those regions around the world where injustice prevails.
