Who is your favorite conqueror?

My personal favorite is Cyrus II of Persia who established Persia as a power, treated his enemies with mercy,kindess and respect. He built the largest empire the world had ever seen up until that point and biggest in terms of global population percentage under his rule and later empires would rule on the model he developed. Even his enemies admired and respected him. What about you guys, who is your favorite?

I know the guy who led this army was a complete butthole.
BUT..
The Wermacht with their blazing fast and furious Blitzkreig style combat were definitely my favorite. Literally steam rolling over anything in their way and conquering entire countries in as little as 2 weeks.


I don't like to associate them with Hitler because he didn't come up with any sort of tactics, but God DAMN these guys could fight.

Alexander got beat up in Punjab real bad and had to turn tail and try to run away---but got shafted in Tulambah / Multan----.

And to top it of---his kids and their kids build an empire on that success---the largest empire---.
