What's new

Who is your favorite conqueror?

. . . .
you can haha all you want.... we can't undo history.

Was it Ancient Pakistan back then or was it India?
Neither if you had asked the people who got invaded. These concepts of "India/Pakistan' did not exist then. We retro apply these modern day concepts. Since Sind is today part of Pakistan and before 1947 was part of the British Raj and before 1843 a Talpur kindom etc we can use the term "Ancient Pakistan" although it would be more correct to call it "Arab invasion of Sind in what is now Pakistan".

This below is a monument to the day when British "Made Sindh into British India" in the Battle of Miani 1843.

Mohenjo-daro is in Sindh if am not wrong. I know concept of India/Pakistan wasn't there but If Ancient Pakistanis fought Alexander some were there to face Qasim down south in Sindh after few centuries if not more.

.
IF you talk about the biggest empire in history belonged to Cyrus the great or Zulqarnain.

. .
. .
If you talk about the most successful conquer of all time it is Ghauri. He took the area where Alexander and Ghangez had failed.

Oh sorry he conquerd "India". Have a look at this map of his conquest.

Your red line going to the south is a bit to the left. Keep it around Bannu and it will make sense.
