Myself .... if you don't trust yourself the most and your reply was something/somebody external to yourself yer proper muppet. He who does not trust himself cannot possibly be in position to make choice in trust. And that is a fact.

It's not about trusting them, it's about trusting their advice. Many of our parents are old school and their advices usually are.. well, let's just say, very conservative.

I would always listen very carefully to an experienced mature advice be it old school ..... because the person giving me the advice has gone through the same age phases as I may be going and he / she may have been the very open and modern person at time of his youth.

I honestly don't know the meaning of conservatism or being a conservative .......... I just read and use this term for something (behavior, view, opinion) that doesn't match my own view. In my view, its an understanding which is very much open to be changed at anytime at any age when faced with more better more robust idea, view, behavior, or understanding. Its (being conservative) not a belief its an understanding of a matter.

I am not that expressive when it comes to showing affection, appreciation and trust. The level of trust to share something with others obviously is going to be hierarchical .... from the nature of what I am sharing to the person whom I am sharing with. Somethings I totally don't share with anyone.

In my daily life dealings .... normally I would trust anyone as a human in the start. It may sound stupid but it helps me in gauging the moral caliber of the people ..... to separate honest truthful principled from the rest. And obviously once I have done that I don't let the people know what I think of them.
