I dont think so, Pakistani journalists have highlighted this matter is also being pushed by military establishment and not just external arab/saudi arab pressure. Since Musharraf there have been continuous efforts to recognize israel and there have been many meetings with the israelis, pakistan now also imports weapons from israel.
