Quantity is just one variable there are other variables to be considered e.g the Israeli airforce was faced against every capable airforce of Middle east and asia. However, they were not defeated and similarly Pakistan faced India in 1965 and it too was not defeated with considerable larger airforce air force with modern weapons. Its the man behind the machine that determines the quality of airforce, not just numbers or technological advantages.

Dont underestimate.
