Which Submarines should the RSNF go after?

Saudis including Oman, UAE, Libya, Algeria and Egypt has a great chance to join with Germans and French in order to produce some types of submarines in a JV like:
3000 tons SSKs
1500 tons SSKs
700 tons Coastal SSKs
110 tons Special Force Submarines (being carried and deployed by Ships)
Rescue Submarines (being carried and deployed by Ships)

I would prefer the German subs over the French. However, that doesn't mean that the French subs are inferior compared to other subs.

Since the sub is French, and our Pakistani friends had a great experience in them, I won't rule the Scorpion out of the equation.

one of the reason i prefer it because its smaller then Augusta and we need smaller size because of depth in red and arabian gulf sea .

Yzd, you all need to learn how to swim with wet suit first...Joke aside...Yzd, you need to look at best navies and their equiment and you have one a little north of you. Their first submarine was put to sea in the late 40s and see what they use know? If the Scorpene was as good as our Pakistanis friends claim, Israel would have chose it..instead she chose the German Daulphin to equip her Navy... For the time being the Dauplhin is away high in the quality Totem pole. But more likely you gonna end up with an American Made. After 2018, Algeria's submarines will be either the Italo-Russian S1000 or the Dauphin...The Daulphin has an edge

@Yzd Khalifa , Bro did KSA initiated a programme to get subs? Its pretty wired for KSA navy to not have subs. As for the type, given KSA's traditional arms suppliers, Germany and france would make the most sense. T-216 should be the one KSA should go after IMHO. Though if politics allow, a different source in other words China would make it more interesting. It may also give KSA navy some extra bargaining power to get ToT for the Yuan class. Though highly unlikely it would happen.

anything israel select its good ? first dolphin was delivered in may 1998 bro and first while first scorpion was entered in 2005 . its not upon select because of anyone else but its role of sub . if you just look an other view 3 dolphins only made yet and 2 are planned while scorpion have 4 in service and 10 on orders by 4 countries .

The israelis chose the Dolphins because the germans co-payed for them,you know,the eternal nazi guilt,the french would ask for full pay and that's a no no for Israel...paying full price ?
