What's new

which pakistan army Soldier biopic film would you love to see?

instead of focusing on one particular personality, we need to focus, on the life of a Common soldiers, how his personal life effected, how his Eids and other celebrations effected in the call of his duty.
How his children missed him on any occupation, how his mother missed him how his wife him.

Clearly you havent read about his and Abdus Salam role in convincing ayub to atleast start a civil nuclear program and him sending Pakistani technicians to NASA and establishing Sonmiani and role in our first sounding rocket (Rehbar 1)

It was Munir Khan and dr Salam who tried to convince President ayub to go for nuclear capability.

I think Sipahi Maqbool Hussain is the ideal choice for the movie. He really sacrificed a lot for his motherland and deserves appreciation from the nation.

Lalak Jan. and hope it is filmed in beautiful Gilgit..

Havildar Lalak Jan & Capt Karnal Sher Khan both are symbols of valour. I'd love to see a movie where both warrior's lives and their journey to Immortality are shown .. As they both fought in the same conflict ..

General Tajammul Hussain Malik:

Led a brigade which successfully held Hilli from the onset of the 71 war till even after the official surrender, a whole Indian division. This Indian division further enjoyed support from the Mukhti Bahini, as well as support from the air. Eventually the Indians simply overran Hilli with their vastly superior numbers, but Malik fought right till the end, was eventually captured and then subjected to torture by the Bengalis. His refusal to surrender and decision to go down with his men was nevertheless extremely admirable.

That guy was a Badass.

4 Infantry Brigades, one Armoured Brigade, one Engineer Brigade, one Mukti Brigade + mutineering East Pak Rifles and yet could not break through this sector to the end and when the war ended thefighting was still going on in the streets of Bogra.

Vs

The Indian attack was led by 20th Mountain Division, commanded by Maj. Gen. Lachman Singh. It consisted of four brigades, plus direct support from their 30 Corp besides Mukti Bahini militia and elements of East Pakistan Rifles who had switched sides and others. Within half an hour of the Indian attack, spearheaded by 8 Guards, they had suffered 97 dead.

The Pakistani side consisted of 4 Frontier Force, having just six field guns, part of the 80 Field Regiment artillery, commanded by Major Anwar Khan, three old tanks, commanded by Lt. Sher Jan Tajik (SJ), two jeep-mounted anti-tank recoiless rifles, besides 51 policemen from West Pakistan. !
