No, actually Major policy shift took place in Vajpayee Era. Country came out of Naheruiyan policies. Country witnessed a major policy change in Foreign and economic policies such as good relation with Israel and Arabs, With US and Russia etc. Modi has took charge just 2 months back. Do not you know how proposed the anti Israel move was thwart by Shushma? This is a major Policy shift. You will witness change in lots of policies.

In answer to what can Modi do ? Pak posters do not seem to realise that Modi does not have to do anything, things are already happening. Did US have to physically attack Soviet Union ?

Which labor reform mess? Labor law has not been reformed for ages. And why reform it? To supply cheap labor to firms whose only motto is profit and not employee welfare?

The call for reforming labor law is more to do with NREGA making minimum wage a little respectable. Industry which has funded MODI is pressurising the Govt to supply them cheap labor. So these new cry "Labor reform."

On a serious note, Pakistan is an excellent buffer against their former heroes. We need to ensure it stays that way.

PA fighting the Talibunnies and other ISIS type barbarians is finally doing what the people of this region never could in their history when they always rolled over and played dead at the sight of any and every invader.

Modi is doing the right thing, focus on the economy and build Indian national strength. Pakistan is at best a nuisance. Not to be given much importance. Just needs to be managed from tipping over till the inevitable happens.
