Had musharraf decided to fight against America and told them to fuvk off would the Americans wage war against a nuclear Pakistan? Or would they just sit back and put sanctions on Pakistan?
I wish musharraf had told no to America's war on terror.
So many innocent lives were gone and we were on the wrong side of history. If we had fought atleast we would've held our integrity in the Muslim world.

If general zia ul haq was in power I believe he would've went to war against America. I wish I lived in his time he was a True mujahideen.

 Your "True mujahideen" Mard-e-Momin Zia ul Haq was a NATO puppet like Morsi and the likes. In fact India in the 1980s under PM Rajiv Gandhi would have gotten Zia back into power if he was overthrown by Pakistani leftists who would have received support from USSR and USSR-supported Communist Afghanistan. Rajiv Gandhi probably didn't want a Socialist or Communist governance system in Pakistan which could have led to a Communist mass swelling in India. From my thread from 2015 :
You are a hypocrite.

All the Muslim majority countries and Islamic scholars agreed fighting the atheistic communists in Afghanistan.
It was a legitimate Jihad against the Soviets.

Even Arabs from Egypt went to join the mujaheddin.

And you call yourself a Muslim? lol.

Or are you pretending to be a Muslim.

Only superpower is Allah.
If Vietnam gave a bloody nose to America imagine what Pakistan would've done to them.
Yes Allah is the only Superpower.

But Allah said also use your own brains as well, logic, and common sense as well.

Ideally Pakistan should have been fully onboard with USA to eliminate every afghani terrorist and their sympathisers in FATA. Instead we did half the job and here we are. How you deal with people that only dream about 72 virgins after life or little kids in real life? You put bullet in their head no matter how many.

Establishment sold us lollypop in the name of ghairatmand taliban pashtuns who only wanted to throw out USA. Now we know their real target is Pakistan.

Now is time to support old ANA against Taliban to eliminate this fitnah once for all by dividing Afghanistan. And after that mine the border and drop huge bombs on anyone daring to cross it.

Allah also said don't show your backs to the enemy but our leaders not only showed their backs but they bent over and took everything in their rears.

Maybe Musharraf agreed to many of USA's demands.

but our country would be like Iran or North Korea, economically backward and undeveloped.

We know Soviets were right after 40 years. And so was Afghan king who wanted to civilise these savage tribals. But Pakistan didn't like the fact that Afghan king claimed our land. Guess what? These tribal terrorists also claim our land and they are much worse. Afghan king claim would have remained a dream at must. Had he succeeded in civilising these tribals, then that would have been biggest blessing for Pakistan.

We should have supported Russia/Soviets back then.

Ummm...No.

The Soviets had supported India. The USSR was an enemy of Pakistan the same way India is.

WE cannot be sure about this.

Iraqi army was very strong in 1991. You can see what became of it in 45 days.

Pervez Musharraf had a better view of the situation.

I agree with Musharraf on many matters, but not on all matters.

Look how USA smashed Iraq into pieces.

Or Pakistan would be sanctioned like Iran or North Korea.

Our biggest enemy is with in us now. Taliban can come and go, infiltrate everywhere with their forged CNIC. Blow up anywhere they like. Kill Chinese and make Pakistan no go area for foreign investors.

Much more easy to deal with direct enemy like India then someone like taliban.

Yes.

It was fourth largest and one of the best equipped force in the world at the time.

It was larger and better equipped than Vietcong at the time as well.

Iol the way these liberal cleanshave use their intellect , ITs not like pakistan is economic powerhouse and respected Internationally even after these dollar loving ruling elites takes everything from behind which their white lords sends their way. Weakness cant be used as An argument for logic. Iran is much more respected as a nation when compared to socalled eiducated dalals of Pakistan who sell everything for pennies and that includes even their honour and selfrespect .
