Where is Mamnoon Hussain?

Yaar jokes bohat hou gayen hain, app sab ko serious houna chahye, agar ye banda apni job nahin kar sakta isse khud hat jana chaye, 174 deaths by rain, 3 killed during protests, 500+ injured but no Mamnoon.

Sorry I was trying to give this thread some fresh air. Too many pro PML N brain farts in this thread.

A month has passed but we have yet to see the President of Pakistan anywhere. Where is he? A crisis is going on in Pakistan and he didn't even come forward to condemn or speak against any of the incidents. I want to know what do you guys think and should any action be taken against him?

@Chak Bamu @Leader @Syed.Ali.Haider @Jzaib @Jungibaaz @Hyperion @Peaceful Civilian @Horus

Take action against him for what exactly? May be he is working behind the scenes? What he does need not be in the public eye.

I don't care, you just go right ahead and do what you want. PTI is a goner.... your arguments can not save it from IK's idiocy and lack of foresight.

So type on and see if I care.... Ciao.
Same here. Dynasties are goner, if not today tomorrow, if not tomorrow some other day. Your arguments aren't going to save these parties due to the dynastic mindset of houses of Shareefs and Bhutto Zardaris and their rampant corruption, and nepotism.

IK is everything, stupid, rigid, tunnel visioned, egoistic, dictator, BUT he is not corrupt, he is not dishonest, and he is not a nepotist.

You type in, rest assure I will care and do my level best to expose the weakness. Too bad I don't have enough time for all this, but still.

His incompetence, do you know anything about him working behind the scenes and that also for almost a month? The seat he holds will always be in public eye whether he likes it or not. Even if he didn't wanted himself to be involved in this, why doesn't he participates in development projects or anything better for our country?

Its a matter of priorities. My support for constitution should not be mistaken as support for dynasty politics. My priority is constitution and not secondary issues. Constitution is the first principle and everything follows from there. You think other matters are important. Fine. Let us agree to disagree and move on. I know exactly what you have said a number of times and I see no convergence in our views. It is pointless to continue this discussion. You save your time and I shall save mine. Let us not engage any farther.

They won't understand. Save your time.

That is only your personal opinion.

I am here on PDF for a reason. If those who know better all walk away, who will teach those who need guidance, whether they admit it or not?

Does the president actually have power in Pak? Zardari's case was different cause he was leader of the ruling party, not sure about this guy

Either I couldn't make myself clear, or you did not read it that way, for me, constitution also comes first, but whole constitution, and not just selected clauses. Constitutions does give right to the elected to govern, but at the same time, also gives right to the people to elect their representative under conducive environment, freely, and under no pressure. Constitution also speaks for the eligibility of contestants and does not allow corrupts, tax evaders, those with criminals charges on them to contest for election. Unfortunately we diverge at this point, you support constitutional rights of the rulers, but seems to deny/igonre the same rights of the commoners. So yes, we should agree to disagree and move on. We agree or not is not going to change anything any way so whats the point.

I understand you. But we have a very refractory crowd here. They are not prepared to consider anything. Just take this thread for example. Who care what Mamnoon Hussain sb. is up to. NS made certain calculations and he chose an Urdu-speaking Muhajir (the one who actually has the memory of 1947). I can understand his reasons why he made a decision when it caused him loss of support from Sindhis.

But those specific reasons mean nothing to these people.

It's alright. I have been a teacher long enough to know that only a few learn out of the many, but that is not reason enough to stop teaching. :D

Back to the topic, the President is more of a ceremonial post holder anyway. How many here would remember Ch. Fazal Elahi and what he did, rather, did not do?

Yes it is my opinion but evidence is with me, what has he done in the past month, where is he? Being a President doesn't means you abandon your people and work for yourself interest as NS is doing. I thought this would be better than others being a Muhajir but he is same like the others.

So knowing this Sir why don't you raise your voice or ask others that they should raise theirs? Wouldn't it be better for us? It can after all make him start to do atleast something.

The President has not abandoned anybody here. What do you want him to do? Wade about in floodwaters for some nice photo ops?

I want him to help dismantle the crisis, do something, floods came now, what about the crisis that has been going for a month, what about developments project or anything else he could have started. Isn't that his job? Isn't he the President for reason? His job isn't to sit in house and stay there for the rest of his life.

Dismantling the crisis takes authority and influence, of which he has neither, given that his post is a ceremonial one only.

So he is also a sitting duck :(. The situation of our country is really bad.
