When Pakistani Air force pilots not only breaks the defense of US Aircraft carrier but also US proud

.
I still think it will be severely restricted ...
U wint walk into battle with damaged deck unless you are really desperate...
Moving away or stay in battle field is totally strategic decision. Or it depend how big is damage . On sea repairable or need dry dock. Its very complicated question. Someone who served on AC can tell better...

A british destroyer in falklands was completely destroyed by a single exocet missile strike...
Damage will be significant requiring port repair perhaps for years

Well, we need to keep in mind that situation is vastly different in case of actual hostilities because a large of assets are brought to bear in an hostile environment that are normally excluded from a simulated scenario due to cost-related considerations and other reasons. Remember: American Aircraft Carriers never operate alone in an hostile environment.

Purpose of an exercise is to learn from the tactics of the others. Americans set the bait and we took it. :)

Nonetheless, praise where due. PAF demonstrated excellent strategic thinking and piloting skills. Makes me proud. :)

I doubt it Sir jiii......AESA also has certain limitations too.

Sinking the AC is kinda impossible , because it travel in battle group formation. But, enemy ultimate objective is hit the deck or bridge. If it hit any of them job is done. AC floating without eyes.

Hi,

Either you know it or you don't know it---.

I repeat---AESA will tell each and every aircraft apart in the cluster and display its make as well.

Here is an interesting article

yeah that was a strange to hear from the announcer but he is a just a new boy and lacks professionalism but otherwise the narration is good and very exciting account and we are proud of these pilots.

Not exactly a new boy but yes he lacks professionalism just like most of Pakistani anchors he spoke most of the time through out this program and kept interrupting the officials

Not forbidden but posting off topic yes.

So why didn't you care to only post that part of the video which interest you?
Or probably my refusal to accept DHARTI MATA sh*t is pinching you? :pakistan:

So you believe in Muslim Ummah not Pakistan? If yes then blow yourself some where. leave us alone. For me Pakistan is nothing BUT EVERYTHING. Pakistan is Dharti Maa and my Ummah start and ends here. We have friends brothers and neighbors but no such thing exist like Muslim brotherhood.

May 26, USS Abraham Lincoln entered the U.S. 5th Fleet AoR and comenced exercise Inspired Alert off the coast of Pakistan. On June 1, the Abe started with missions in support of Operation Southern Watch.

During exercise US Air craft carrier commander makes pompous claim that no body can break defense of US Air craft carrier Abraham Lincoln, Pakistan Air Force accept the challenge and two pilots from PAF (Flying Mirage Jets) not only breaks the all defense system of the carrier but also successfully mock the attack.

I hope now you understand.:lol::lol:

already was discussed years ago when sir @Muradk was active and @Windjammer had also shed some light on it.

Hussaini had made a painting of the engagement too, it was from mid flank exercises with USN and PAF in 92/94 or 96.

Inspired Alert exercises haven't been held since like 1997

BTW how could it be dangerous (other than flying low) since it is a joint exercise?
our pilots took that low flying to a new level that day by almost kissing the surface of sea , in order to not be detected by carrier as shown in painting in post#12. The tactic was the same as explained in post#76.

The exercise was mid flank (if im correct) with USN and PAF in 90s. It was already discussed years ago.
It was almost like this,,,,However they were flying even more lower then this

Subject exercise held in 2004/5...
it was mid flank exercises in 90s Im not sure abt carrier's name

Its cluster formation , where plane fly wing to wing and radar detect it as single plane. But when plane reach near carrier it disperse . Yes, they have to fly very close to ocean surface to dodge radar. This technique was first introduce in 70 where Pak-Iran pilots dodge US carrier during exercise.
we did this same with our B57 bombers in 1965 war too. There was a mission to bomb a military location in india and B57 flew towards it using sea route at night and indians failed to detect them ever after they bombed and safely returned 4 B57s were used with 1000 pound bombs 8 each. who had hit them, where it they disappears in darkness and how they hit them.

Abraham Lincoln confirmed and yes that happened in 93/94.

This is how Gp Capt (Retd) Hussaini painted it.

I have personally met the Pilot who commanded this mission and took multiple shots. He had planned such a dangerous and almost impossible mission where even error of just one foot wud end in disaster.
