Confusion and strife are upon us, my brothers and sisters. Everywhere you look, our people are scared, oppressed and dying. The enemies of the Muslims are everywhere and some of our leaders are the worst amongst us; outwardly pious, inwardly the greatest of cowards and the worst of fools.
How they make the young busy with trivial matters of Islam while the shadow of oppression destroys their brothers and sisters. Just like the donkey that is scared to look at the lions so it teaches its young to look at the lush green grass under their feet. The young, in turn, praise the teacher for teaching them to see the good green grass - neither the teacher or the students dare to look up, for by doing so they see their own doom – better to go to the end, blind.
Oh true believers! Know that MPACUK are warners of danger. We are like the man tasked to sit on a hill to watch out for the enemy - we see more clearly what is coming; we see the intent on the faces of those marching against us, we see the swords before they strike.
Yet, when we descend to the village, the students and teachers rage against us, telling the village to close their ears to our warnings. They dare not let our message get out. If they do, the people may ask them to act, for surely they are the ones who have claimed leadership of the village.
So, the warnings go unheeded. Each day, the sound of the impending doom gets closer to the village and each day the Muslims and their scholars look harder at the green, green grass.
The screams of the Ummah will echo in their hearts on the Day of Judgement, when their Lord will ask them, 'Why did you talk of Me and Islam as an excuse to hide from your duty, never lifting a finger to protect the oppressed and the destroyed of my Ummah?' Then the thing they claim is Islam, this green beautiful thing, will turn to ashes on the scales of Judgement Day and they will realise that the duty they feared to act upon, was the only thing that could have saved them.
"The Apostle of God (pbuh) said: `There will come a time for my people when there will remain nothing of the Qur'an except its outward form and nothing of Islam except its name and they will call themselves by this name even though they are the people furthest from it. The mosques will be full of people but they will be empty of right guidance. The religious leaders (Fuqaha) of that day will be the most evil religious leaders under the heavens; sedition and dissension will go out from them and to them will it return.' " -ibn Babuya, Thawab ul-A'mal
