I have disappointed a lot of Pakistanis when they find out I can't converse in Hindi properly. So my interaction have been pretty limited to Punjabi speaking or the brown sahib crowd from the otherside.
This reminds me of a little incident that happened in the first quarter of this year when I trolled a few Pakistanis when they were having a little get together at on occupation of Kashmir by Indian forces.
They thought I was Pakistani and one of the chicks asked me from which Pakistani city I was from ? (Most of them were ANU students and I was the odd one).I was like "Nah! I'm from India".
It was a 'holy sh!t' moment for her but it went pretty smoothly because she kept it to herself. It might have turned into a kut kutapa thing as there were some mean looking uncles from PG/Research department.
A good life experience nonetheless.
