When China and India Army meet near TaWang(South of Tibet), it will...

Almost every other country ( or those governing it) on this planet earth, have one or the other dispute -. But that should not call for a discord between people on either side.

A regular ( like you ) in this forum, should be aware of the 'not so sweet' love extended to the chinese, by ( surprisingly ) most Indians. Assuming the populance in this forum to be a subset of those outside, the answer seems obvious.

The assumption of the relationship on this forum being a microcosm of the relationship in the real world is false. This is a Pakistani forum with Pakistani moderators, which means that a certain kind of Chinese posters get a free pass, which then leads to Indian posters responding in kind. The short version being that Indo-chinese relations on this forum are moderated by pakistanis, but that is not so in the real world. This discrepancy can also be felt in Indo-Bangladeshi relations.

And you did not answer the question - what can the aam admi (by which I mean those not in positions of power) do to resolve the border dispute? Can they redraw the mcmohan line? Can they come to an understanding on which bits go to who? No, only those in power, the people who have the authority to negotiate on behalf of their country can do all that.

I know that the border issue should not come in the way of people to people relations, and indeed, it doesn't. But the fact remains that a Lee or a Ram on the streets cannot solve the border dispute.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE SOLDIERS ON BOTH SIDES!
May they meet like this year on year and celebrate the New Year, even if they are away from their families on the border.
