Cheers mate.. Not a big fan of beer but Kilkenny and Stella Artois, I'd never say no to

What ?? Capt Morgan over Old monk, Granted Capt Moran is a nice rum but you being old school Indian this is simply sacrilege mate

There's a story to that.

I never, ever thought I'd touch anything but Old Monk (the 7 year old one). However, you probably also know that Old Monk had gradually disappeared from the market because of the old man running Mohan Meakins aging rapidly, and just not being up to things. This was quite upsetting; I had a very poor impression of other rums and had stayed away from them all my life. Then my brother-in-law took a hand, and decided to get me out of my morose bad mood. He suggested I try McDowell's; I returned the favour with a dirty look and poured myself another vodka-and-tonic (actually, vodka-and-ginger ale works a treat; Schweppes sells it in a tin, try it). When I did bring myself to try it, it was a revelation!

After that, all inhibitions down, I started 'cruising' (ahem, among rums, I hasten to add). And I came across Captain Morgan, fell in love, and decided that 65 is the new 35. And the rest is history, except - damn their eyes! - Colonel Sahib's two nephews have started reviving Old Monk!!!

You can't win.

Joe if you're in to Caribbean rum like capt Morgan, You need to try Pampero Aniversario.. Its a Venezuelan rum.. Simply outstanding, Drink it with Ginger ale and a piece of palm sugar as a taste cleanser

What I wouldn't do for some Jack Daniels and Redbull right about now. Might sound naive but that shit is so sentimental to me.
