Whatever happened to the boycott of goods made in China in India?

.
Any figures on imports from UAE? Dubai is a major re-export hub.

.
Free country with laws , which can be challenged in court by local importers. Cant just enforce orders like in china Australia conflict, with the coal scarcity causing black outs and business losses in China. You won't understand coming from a absolute regime.
Free country? Where RSS rats have infested poloce, judiciary, media and every institution. There is no court for ppl of kashmir, no court for muslims killed, no courts for farmers to turn to, no court for dalits or other low caste ppl. Shove that freedom up modi's ugly ****. It is because ugly banya cant lose money and business and we know u ppl sell familoes for money too. If Australian ban is causing problems to china then why is Australia going to WTO crying? Dumb idiot know ur place before u open ur mouth.

.

Sorry more like 20%

Still more accurate than your fake BS that China cutting off Australian coal is causing blackouts. You’d think even an Indian can do the basic arithmetic when confronted with the fact that Australia serves less than 1% of China’s energy needs.
Showing 2017 data? India has 100% electricity coverage now.

A village is considered electrified if 10% of its homes and all public buildings are connected to the grid.
World Bank figures show around 200 million people in India still lack access to electricity.
Mr Modi said all of nearly 600,000 villages in India have now been given electricity connection.
Correspondents say it's a great achievement for Asia's third largest economy.
However, some people said on Twitter that their villages had yet to get access to electricity despite government claims.

:woot:10% means electrified,good work.

This man's home was considered electrified, but look at the meters on the wall ---- only happen in India.

Most villages have electricity but all homes don't.
Affordability comes into the picture. And this comes under state government not under central. Central can just provide funds to state governments. Last mile connectivity and home connections are fully under state governments.
We have a very strong federal structure.
You should read the bbc article you have attached.

In China,we call this corruption.
Those government officials will not only dismissed but also put into jail.

The central government requires the state governments permission to send any central forces to the state. Last year a central government cbi investigator was placed under arrest by opposition state government police for not taking its permission.
China has a very strong central government , with no one to question its authority but India does not have the same.

No, the underlying cause is India lack of official Accountability System.

Agreed. Accountability in government concerns is very low. Central is more efficient but state governments are like fiefdoms , very inefficient. Ofcourse i am generalizing, some state governments do well. Modi became PM based on his performance as the CM of Gujarat.
But being a Chinese, you can't understand the safeties and resultant drawbacks of a democratic setup.

:p: Nope, being a Chinese, so I can understand what this "democracy" is.
Just like China's 1920s or 1930s, we call it "the age of warlords".
safety? don't kidding me.

The spread of wuhan virus is primarily due to the non transparent behavior of the Chinese government. In a democratic country the free press and opposition parties would have created a big din and the spread would have been arrested early on.
Instead of saving people, the Chinese government was more interested in saving face. Doing that even now.

.
But it seems that China is selling the goods cost to cost and in no position to offer 5% discount and hence this happened.

But in may 2020, india's imports plunged 51 percent. LOL
