On one side Pak PM seems to talk about things which looks like he is continuing on the same speech, thinking and ideology as he was doing when he was trying with Vajpayee... a careful image of a peace wanting economic changer in pak
On the other side, his cabinet's love for K word, war, terrorism charges about india and dossiers flashing is all they harp. Nothing bad for sure

I mean General Raheel Sharif and PM Nawaz Sharif are playing bad cop good cop roles here properly. Former is shown in media as a hard man who wont compromise for anything whereas later is shown and portrayed in media as a man whose hands & legs are tied by former but he is a peace loving, economic stability lynchpin... Which is a good strategy..

Only issue is people around them dont fit into any roles.. example is pak foreign secretary, ppermanent representative to UN Maleeha Lodhi, NSA Sartaj Aziz etc etc as these folks are doing what even they don know.. flashing dossiers, saying they would submit proof and talking on and on about it in media and finally not doing anything seems to be counter productive

good cop bad cop is a good ploy so rest should not destroy it for just their 5 seconds of fame itch...

As for RAW dossier, perhaps RAW only sabotaged it and stole the dossier for "safekeeping" in a "safe location". After all, too many RAW ppl in Pakistan.. Right?


BTW saw Sharif UN speech.. don know what he rewrote 7-8 times his speech.. his peace proposals seems he is trying again and again to be seen in international community as seeker of peace.. He did nt mention K word at all i mean saying K should have referendum and K should be with Pak etc etc.. A perfect good cop performance

Only issue is, whatever he says, can he back it up with General Raheel Sharif adhering to all 4 points?

Can Pak Army, Navy and Airforce adhere or sign a non aggression pact with India and no rhetoric about it and no nuclear threats? Essentially a binding agreement eradicates the essence of any conflict with India Pak context.. Then can Pak then justify its "full spectrum deterrence". Effectively then the US and other folks would run and ask Pak to curb its N program as there is no threat after signing of non aggression pact with India.. So then what to do? effectively i feel Point 2 of speech is a self goal there !!!

It is not good cop, bad cop, the fact is Pakistan understand it cant keep K issue in international forums, so it plays a peace card. But back in home, no one`s going to buy the peace card, so he choose to play the k card. Now he cant be both saying peace in international forums, and k in Pakistan, it will reduce his image as a two face harvey dent, which already most countries know, thus he choose the Coas card. The fact is NS is playing the same old politics for decades that he used to play, and you can see where pakistan stands now.
All i can see is ISI scratching NS`s back, NS scratching ISI`s back, so both can stay in power, and you can easily see the pattern, from election rigging to everything.

The documentation was provided to the UN last week, and the Kashmiris also provided proofs and pictures of Mass Graves. That's all part of the UN history now. The expectations wasn't that the UN would allow air strikes on India, the purpose was to put them out there.

As a result, the US Sec. Kerry, had met with both, the Indians and Pakistanis and had ordered them both (big daddy baby), to remove all offensive language and allegations from their speeches. He had also asked both sides to meet and shake hands at the least. But NS declined to follow as he said that the drama on the LOC is unnecessary and he doesn't want to shake hands with someone with dual personality and intentions. But, since the Big Daddy USA instructed to, both Modi and NS removed the negative aspects of their speeches. And this was probably the firs time when things went smooth inside the UN, in terms of India - Pakistan.

NS actually modified his speech and many Western analysts I speak to, all agreed that he very diplomatically put India on defense by going in front of the world and offering four conditions to establish peace (all VERY pragmatic and nicely thought out). If i start putting out facts about USA, perhaps this thread wont be enough. So lemme put it this way then which you can understand, if you believe firmly that India is the cause of all issues and you feel that Government of India at present is made up of criminals and "tea boy", then why you waste your time again and again stating the obvious?

I personally done agree to any religious intolerances and yet i also agree that India has some issues going everyday where clash happens on these lines and are painted more on religious divide which is totally baseless and is used just tod rum up fake support.

There are more than million links for USA related crime by armed forces to even today intolerances due to skin color issues. Every day there is a newsreport of a teen shooting or a cop killing a innocent black man based on race and skin color and without any arms to protect and yet you folks move on with it like nothing. as if the so called other skin color does not exist. As if Whatever Martin luther King fought for is a sham.. So do you yourself denounce it and bring perpetrators to justice? How many of your own forces killed and tortured over decades of war and so called strikes? So then are they prosecuted? If you people think so highly or perhaps your own individual opinion about terror is all about India sponsoring all extremism, then why your own government of United States of America states more should be done to dismantle terror infra inside Pak, Haqqani network and terror organisations like HuJ/LeT etc

I went and saw most of the places too where so called things happened in the heat of the time as per media and news reports. Unfortunately what i saw and what i read in news reports does not match. I will reserve that opinion to myself for all reasons which i believe in. Army issues in J&K is an old story... You need something new.. portraying Muslim clashes and deaths for coloring your opinions is an old tactic or crying about other religion issues and giving everythinga communal color. A country which discriminates people based on skin color, where white man shoots a black man whose unarme dand goes scot free does not have any moral right to talk ill about my country.. just have a look at Eurie Stamps tragedy. How a swat team killed an old black man for nothing and yet you point fingers to my country's "extremism" and turn blind eye to your own people's "blind racial extremisms". There are 1000's of more examples as i said but it wont be covered in a single thread... and i am not sure religion and racial extremism comes under defence forum discussions or not.. lol
