What will you wear this Eid? Here's a style guide for every occasion!
ANUM REHMAN CHAGANI
With so many lovely pret options available, choosing just one outfit can be a nightmare.
With countless designers churning out new collections every other week, it can be a little overwhelming trying to decide your Eid outfit. A big part of getting it right is dressing for the occasion; you're obviously not going to wear the same outfit for dinner at Dadi's that you would wear to brunch with the gal pals.
Fret not, we have just the guide for you!
For the newly wed going to her in-laws' house: Elan
Too snazzy to wear otherwise, the Elan Eden collection this year seems to be tailor made for new blushing brides. Sticking to what they know best, expect a lot of floral detailing and prints adorned generously with crystals. Although the pricing is not for the faint-hearted, these pieces are semi-formal and versatile and surely can be utilized on other occasions too.

Thankfully, the collection, which looks heavy, uses lighter fabrics such as chiffon and cotton-net so you can beat the heat while looking like a million bucks! The fashion house always has its finger on the pulse of what silhouettes are making their way back and it is evident that Khadija Shah of Elan is determined to bring back the flared pants.
Our favourite piece(s): We're liking the hemlines short and the pant width wide.

For brunch at a friend's place: Mahgul
The new kid on the block has been making waves recently with her quirky yet modern cuts and striking colours; you can tell a Mahgul piece from miles away. Her subdued use of colour for her Eid collection is sure to make you look effortlessly chic and perfect for an occasion while the sun is still out!

While keeping things simple, Mahgul doesn't completely neglect the risk-taker client. We spotted some particularly eye-catching borders on the bottoms!
Our favourite piece: This pearl white overlap summer jacket (which you can pair with some statement jewellery) and these shamrock green trousers with bold threadwork.
The summer jacket, which we predict will be a massive hit, is also available in grey
For the big annual Eid daawat at your grandma's place: Farah Talib Aziz
Nothing is better suited for the girly girl than a FTA ensemble. Sleek cuts, coupled with subtle, floral embroidery make this collection highly coveted.
Meera Ansari and Sana Ansari have become the poster girls for the brand in recent times
Again, the price tag is steep but the pieces are practical in the sense that they can be worn in an Eastern and Western manner. The pastel hues ranging from cool mint, peachy pink and lavender are sure to give you a wholesome look and bag you the best dressed lady award in the fam. If it's a big affair, expect some rishtas!
