What Will Happen To Putin's Approval Ratings Once Russia's Economy Plummets?

Crimea is Russia if that's what you mean seized territory.
can't help the BS caused by right sector is having a cascading effect across eastern Ukraine.

Europe and U.S got dooped into something we shouldn't of got involved in.

No. Crimea is Ukraine per law.You see,Russians have a nasty habit of rethinking which territories are Russian or not after they feel that they are powerful enough. It happenned the same with my country in june 1940 starting with the letter which basically told us "the SU is now strong (her military weakness being a thing of the past were the exact words) give us your land".That's exactly the same with Ukraine. No one took Crimea by force,it was Ukrainian since 1991 by common agreement until Putin sent polite green men.

we are just going to have to agree to disagree.

So basically they are saying that the Western sanctions are hurting Russia's economy and people, but they hope the Russian middle class will be tricked into blaming Putin for that, in order to bring democracy to Russia (again)?

Western sanctions are a DIRECT result of Putin unilaterally annexing the Crimea after having invaded it, and subsequently funding and supporting a rebel movement in another country.

Let's not be stupid. Putin has done this to himself. No invasion = no sanctions. Very simple stuff.

Do Russians enjoy being ruled and told what to do, having a man in a position of power for so long and potentially longer isnt something I would feel comfortable with, he is basically a king, we know Russians enjoy being ruled to some extent but for a nationalist country one would think they would not fall into that old trap.

I am for a prosperous Russia anyway, all of Europe has to be really, the only parts of Russia that really matter are in European territory and all the talk of looking East is crap, sure they will look East towards China for gas money etc but what country isnt involved in huge contracts with China? we all are. The only direction they will be looking is at their kin next to them, eventually all of Europe including the important Eastern parts of Russia will be at a good level of mutual cooperation.....eventually.

The US had always been enemy of Russia, regardless of Russian invasion or not.

Americans don't care about bullied by two parties owned by oligarchs, so why should Russians care? Heck, Russia has FOUR parties, the US only has TWO parties.

And what about Merkel? She's been chancellor since 2005 and Germany has no term limit for chancellor.
