What to expect in 2014 ?

First of all I am sorry for making a single thread on army section but my thread is about all armed forces of Pakistan ..

What we can expect or expecting to get some major weapons , tanks , artillery , missiles/tests , new air crafts , new ships and any new technology in this 2014 ..
strategically this year is so important for Pakistan or maybe for all south Asia. and i am sure that all our armed force are aware of that , so are we going to see any major changes in any of our armed force ?

please mods take good care of trolls specially those who derail the thread .

Like what else will we see this year? well to name a few:

more nvg mounts
new SSG camo (the M81 pattern is getting old)
G3 variants with new sights and rifle stock types
other things too, its gonna be pretty subtle so keep an eye out.

But then again these are just guesses that I'm making from the trend that we have seen so far.

ok well i believe that 2014-2016 will be very crucial years for pakistan and i know peoples will call me war fanatic or mad if i say that i am 80% sure that in before the end of 2016 pakistan will get involved in a war , either it will be small scale or full scale ..
i want pak navy and air force to be more strong , army is strong enough ..

Like it will happen like that. Annexing Afghanistan is beyond the capabilities of Pakistan (i-e both military and political).
What can happen and should be on the mind of Pakistani leadership is merger. But to do that you need political will and a major media and information campaign, informing and convincing the people of both Pakistan and Afghanistan that it is good for both. Then you will make committees that will iron out what each part will bring to the new union and go about setting a new capital a new currency a new national language.
It's a long and difficult process, but the rewards are worth it.
If that is what you mean then it's an excellent idea, if you mean annexation as in colonization, then you are asking for the trouble or worse.

It sounds very wrong to me. Most likely the usual western tactic of giving birth to new border disputes after vacating occupied territories. This can most likely become the reason of future wars with afghan armed forces which shall develop further over time. I think Pakistan shouldn't take the role of aggressor in this, mera zameer nai manta.


Maybe we should politely return it to afghan after US leaves. This will show to them that we're neighbours...we're closer to each other than the US..and our deal with US was just topidrama.
