If Myanmar kicks out the Rohingyas then it will lose Rakhine, simple as that. Myanmar is not strong enough to defend itself if BD wishes to attack it.

I won't be as cocky and confident as you as China has considerable interests in mynamar. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia threatened mynamar with overt military attack in 1990's ,but of no avail. Pakistan threatened mynamar in 1940's-60's. No avail.

I expect the same for bangladesh. If you are confident ,then go ahead try it.

Once BD is strong enough(current focus in on economic growth and military modernisation), then expect a muscular approach towards Myanmar.

Forget Pakistan as the main reason it broke up is that the leaders only cared about the Western Wing in essence.

And BD was so damn poor in 1992, that it would have had no wish to take part with Saudi Arabia in a war with the Mynamar then.

Even now, BD does not want to strike Myanmar and it will be 10-15 years before it feels ready to do so. Like I say BD takes a long term view and will hit Myanmar very, very, very hard if it does not behave itself.

When you take out the ethnic minorities you are left with only 35 million Burmans against well over 150 million Bangladeshis. Simply BD will steamroller them.

Well,actually,since you brought it up,E. Europe,despite the hysteria does bring qualified and educated work force to Western Europe.It also brings unskilled one but if you're trying to compare Eastern Europeans with what's currently coming in boats from Lybia you're living in another world.Plus,yes our criminals migrated to Western Europe but i didn't hear about E. Europeans creating enclaves in Western states or being so culturally different than their Western hosts.Eastern Euros might be poorer due to communism but they are educated for the most part and law abiding.In another forum i saw that in the UK for example some 4% of Esstern European migrants are on welfare,16% native Brits and 80% of Somali migrants.

Last but not least i truly want the Eastern European migration to stop,i hope it gets stopped,our countries are literally bleeding from the brain drain.There are allready talks of importing Bangladeshi workforce in here due to the lack of manpower for the minimum wage.

As i've said in my earlier post,you're preaching to the choir here,i want my people to return ,ALL of them if it might be possible.As a random question,what do you think Westerners would prefere as even unskilled workforce ,Eastern Europeans or African migrants ? As for the skilled part ,our hospitals are drained of doctors and nurses ,even so that we're issuing a new law that if you didn't pay University classes you have to work 10 years in our system before high tailing to France or Germany.Don't get me started on our engineers,IT professionals,etc.There are millions of Romanians in Spain and Italy especially but apart from the criminals,the real criminals who commit crimes in here and in Western Europe,do you hear about Romanian enclaves with Romanians living as per their customs ? No,they adapt ,they work...Same for Poles,Bulgarians,Slovaks,etc.

And for a last part,who did Romania colonise that she should accept immigrants per some stupid EU quotas ? The quotas were so ridiculous that because of our low unemployement rate we were in the top countries as per number of immigrants....i mean really,WTF ? ...we're kind of poor if you didn't notice and suddenly we should take in immigrants ?

1. The ruling race in Burma are the Barmans who are highly racist. All other nationalities in the country are graded lower, the Burmans getting preference for choicest govt jobs, business license and education. However the Rohingyas are non-citizens qualifying for no education, employment or private business. They are used only to provide slave labor.
2. The Rohingyas need to, and can, fight to oust the invaders themselves. But they need a safe base. Looking at the map it is clear that only BD can do this. However current BAL govt in BD has outsourced its defense and foreign relations to Delhi who are allergic to BD getting close to any Muslim nation.
