Where are those members who claim to have sources in pakistann military? Not one came up with a possible reason... Amsoo upset with ispr right now.. They let indian media have a field day yesterrday... As if they are delieberatly letting indian media claim victory and coming up with no response, even when we have captured one of theirs... Why does ispr want to give face saving to indians by not xposing their lies? Very very strange

If the death toll was 177, the reaction would've been on a whole new level and just wouldn't stop with surgical strikes and cross border firings. GOI is under tremendous pressure from the public and to act on Pakistan due to 26/11, Pathankot and Uri was where they had no other option but to react. Well I wouldn't want to go into the troll fest and fights of keyboard warriors that no surgical strikes took place or there have been 8-14 causalities on the Indian side due to cross border firing but I can say that if it was 177, all hell would break loose from both sides. Also, the attack took place on an army base that too by 4 terrorists, so it would be impossible for them to kill 177 jawans.

Oh! Really, how many died in Mumbai in 2008? After blaming it on Pakistan what Indian response was?

People are just making stories on captured Indian soldier, I will wait for ISPR to unveil on captured Indian soldier, also there are reports that he has opened up openly in front of PA, what details were give it will be interesting to know.

I am sure the death toll in Uri is much higher than shown by Indian media. 177 figure could actually be true, but we will never know.

I am trying to find the answer to this, since yesterday badly... Cant think of any possible reason..why ispr is silent?. Every channel has confirmed atleast death of 8 indian soldiers. As per Pakistani media he was captured trying to cross the Loc with that team whose all members were neutralized and he told that there were no orders to attack on the so called terrorist camps! His goal was to attack Pakistani base. So i feel for him.. poor soul will rot in Adiala jail for rest of his life..

What proof you have claiming all these?? These soldier was captured 23 hours after DGMO press conference. If he had attacked an base, then normally I dont expect Pak soldiers to capture him alive.

Ok...forget about 8 dead soldiers.... We know tht atleast we have captured one indian soldier... Tht has been confirmed by Maliha Lodhi, as well as Indian minister has confirmed tht their soldier has been confirmed... So theres no doubt about atleast one captured soldier... So the same sources told abt 8 dead soldiers, who told abt captured soldier..so i would like to believe tht news of those 8 deaths is also true.. But even if we forget abt it.. WHY is ISPR silent on Captured soldier? Why isnt ispr officially claiming to have captured the soldier during tht cross border firing? So, as per media reports and official statements from India and confirmation by Her Excellency Maleeha Lodhi, one of Indian soldiers has been captured alive (though no official confirmation from ISPR) as India tried to do adventure in Azad Kashmir.

There are couple of postulates and theories in my mind as to why ISPR has not confirmed it.

1. PA doesn't want to confirm that Indians did cross LoC. OR
2. PA wants him to use as a bait to trade off someone. And/OR
3. He will be used at some appropriate forum to spill the beans that Indians were ordered to attack Pakistani military bases instead of terrorist camps as claimed by India. And also he can reveal the death toll India suffered while retreating/ advancing or both.
4. He may provide eye witness account of Uri incident as to who carried out attack etc and number of casualties (Sheikh Rasheed revealed that death toll at Uri was 177) ..

I am confused because as IA has shown to the world that they did carry out a surgical strike at Pakistani soil why is PA silent to show to the world the dead bodies of soldiers and the captured jawan? Isn't it high time! Hit the iron when it is hot.., what possibly Chandu can reveal and why is ISPR silent since yesterday? Why is there no retaliation openly as India did (False flag or not, this is different story)??

Dont keep that much high hopes, ISPR is still a kid in dealing with info war, fact is that Pakistan have lost in this propaganda war. It doesnt matter whatever captured soldier reveal now as time have been passed.

You also need to consider back channel activity going on. US being main interlocutor for its self interest. US needs Pakistan badly for Afghanistan presence and fight against terror. If Pakistan shift its attention to east, US will not able to survive in Afghanistan without prohibitive cost and its Central Asian entrance will be in jeopardy. At the same time US wants to exploit indian arms bazar and tarde and for namesake wants india as a China containment partner. US can not afford to have major india - Pakistan conflict for its own interest.

First thing US did was, US NSA called india and asked to shut it. That is why india, before leash is on, hurriedly called press conference to gain political milage from domestic audience.

At the same time, one can be certain US reached Pakistan and impact of that can be seen in the tapered reaction from government and ISPR.

I suppose in time things will be revealed.
