She needs car to drop kids off and other things, better to have a good car than constantly buying cheap ones and then repairing etc

What if it's dealer approved second hand but she wants a brand spanking new?

Let's assume the second hand car is safe and has no issues etc and comes with dealer warranty too. But she's stuck on the new one.

I'm sure she'd compromise if not its cool :P

It's not cool for a Muslim. Taking on a transaction containing interest is a sin and more so when it could've been avoided altogether. All to make wife happy. Is Allah going to be happy?

But hey, Islam is irrelevant, right?

@El Sidd @Divergent1 @abdulbarijan @Proudpakistaniguy
i think after all this debate you all will agree with me that one should never get married :enjoy:
Sometimes I think that MGTOW (men going their own way) is the way to go, cuz MOST women are flat out materialistic, the relatives are too nosy, the expectations are set too high and the caliber of the individuals up for marriage is too low...

But then, the reality that one cannot live alone forever strikes, plus the cultural considerations force me to consider otherwise..

Well for our dear friend @Divergent1 ... all the compromises should be made from the guy/ families to make the wife happy, and since a happy wife = happy life ... thats the end of the debate :P

Interesting how everyone's basically ganging up and @Divergent1 's like

More like everybody is telling her the problems in such and such arguments and she's like ...

I didn't wanna do it. I respect you sincerely but how did you manage to drag in interest and women in this thread.

Like its not much she has to suffer childbirth and now you are blaming her for the banking system and riba and interest.

Keep it simple. Why every hit has to be bulls eye?

I love the way you write and express ..! :smitten:

Lady asked about sins and I thought 'hey, I'll explain with an example'. That was simple according to me, perhaps not so. I wasn't thinking as far as birth Nd banking system

Unfortunately for me, I don't know a better way to get across to the female species after the many 'Kabhi Nahi'. Bulls eye works in my life, wife calls me ruthless for them but she's getting used to it (I think).

I'm right on this

I am just saying its much easier to get the message across without creating sensationalism and cornering someone over sins.

Lifes full of examples. Take the easier one. Kaka you get carried away in a giffy. Your bulls eye leaves you open for others as well.

Plus she is a kid. 18 19. Fat ankles. Possible eating disorder. Can't even speak her alleged native language. Has a thing for Balaclava. ( Savagery )

Megan is a no go too

Ummm ... Not really sir, the only thing dragged here was the ultimate apology for every wrong women do i.e. child birth :P @Verve was actually probing the idea proposed by @Divergent1 i.e. "treat her like she's everything' and he just set the context as to ... what's the limit ... and she's basically said there is no limit ... compromise is just a one way street ... and I'm here legit soiling my pants cuz some people want me married ... and if thats the expectation of an average gal and how gals think .... I'm at loss for words :D

Was the cornering part that obvious!?

Yeah, she's young and bound to make mistakes. Young ones like to learn that way, wasn't much different once myself. What she's reading is all sticking in so maybe one day when she's regretting a mistake she may recall something one of us said. One never knows what someone said a long time ago can bring about a major change for betterment.
