and BTW if they deal dominantly in derivatives, it makes a lot of sense as they are mostly dealing with the transactions having future considerations or delivery.....I guess leveraging should not be a factor

Yes, you are smart. I cannot give much details but it's mostly futures. Statestreet is a custodian bank and maintains account for Lockheed, It is front office for us and back office for them.. lol~

yeah statestreet does enjoy a very good reputation as a custodian......But as custodians, statestreet should not be the fund manager....as you are indicating.....its a conflict of interest!...

I mean you can always help your father in his business....MBA is a business manager in-fact, not a corporate slave...but that doesn't mean you should miss an outstanding school within your country rather than spending equal amount of money in a business school in Canada which is certainly below IBS -2 Canadian BS in top 50 in latest FT rankings while IBS is at 15-

Sir so many thanks for your post. . But you must know that always indian universitys appear in top 10 it not easy to get seated here, mainly i am a low average holder but my brother is in canadian consultancy for indian students it easy for me join there.

i missed an internship at SBP last year (my form got late..just one day:cry:) n it tuned out to b in some research wing..ahh i still regret that!

you should know that requirements in Canadian business schools are as stringent as in any best indian biz school. I mean if you're aiming for something...aim for top tier...BTW you can also apply in Australia where there aren't any strings attached.....(Check ANU for finance or financial Management....)
