yes you got my point ......... just look at pakistan we have born from indian and central asian culture but due to heavy influence of islam are different then both

Religion dominated the culture of all Muslims not just pakistani but arabian, african , etc they got rid of those cultural practices which contradicted to their religious beliefs even though some still prevalent in those societies

not necessarily see in punjabi areas we have culture of water stalls ....... during hot months everyone gets to drink rooh afza for free ....... does not happens in arabian penensula ......... but sadly we are accepting and improvising Arab culture as we think it is the most superior form of islam ...... which is a problem

This can be categorized as both culture and religion. Why those "sabeel" take place? For good deeds? I'm sure you know about the story of 'Karbala' and giving water to thirsty is linked to that story.

you dont have to get rid of them but to mend it to your beliefs ...... just look at the panchayat culture where it is not according to islam its jahalat but where it is it is spreading real time justice

As long as you it is NOT diverting you from the basic teaching of Islam or your faith. Now if you talk about Pakistani weddings, not even come close to the teaching of Islam. You see.

yous ee indian punjabi and pakistani punjabi..they have same ethnicity but a lot of differences as well because of religion..Pakistani punjabi consider daroo as evil..they eat meat including beef as well ..they got rid of certain practices which contradicted to their beliefs

and most of traditions are not against Islam as well ....... see being happy and expressing it is not against Islam ....... having fun is also not against Islam ....... you dont have to bend our marriages and make them Like Arabians .....as most of people here want to ..... i really like how our weddings last months ...... it gives the bride sense of importance which our women dont really get much

it does it is greatly effected by sikhism and khalsa ..... what we see on TV is not all true

Culture is the adoption of new rules , new system which form a society in simple Word Progress
While Religion is the revelation to a society , Where All Comes From by some written or verbal Sources Like We have Four Books These are the Written sources but there were thousand prophets which didnt have Books so they were the verbal source to there society
we can see changes in culture with the passage of times and see new things While as you see Quran was and will remain same no Change will occur.
Now Problem With Pakistan and different countries is Pakistan is a new Born Nation , yes its history is old but its its so infused with hindu tradition and culture that majority of people specially illiterate or who have at least big knowledge of islam majority of habits they follow part of islam or not , Like . Holi , Shabrat , Basant , and other myths and
Biggest Problems how can someone teach other when they dont even know what they are teaching
