What's new

What is Chinese High-speed Railway Network like by April 2016? Marching towards 20,000km benchmark!

.
Bro, India have already started to blame China for its bad quality. The last time I checked, they blamed China's shoddy work.

You see, Chinese designers are thoughtful, we design a train with multi-function to satisfy our Indian customers: they can make a trip and take shower at the same time :rofl::rofl:

thak you for your reply.
and by Metro cars i mean EMUs and DMUs @anant_s and mr. Andrew

they are Small, Stey are Smart, Fast and Cheap.

for ex. look at this DMU Class.
RABDe 500 German Intercity DMU

SBB_ICN_Lugano.jpg

these Trains can easily Reach 300 Kms P/h.
I have taken the first one in WA, from Perth to Kalgoorlie.
It was a great journey in terms of cosiness, though the speed was terrible, 400 km in 6-7 hours?
They are not really cheap at all, the interior design is much better than business class on planes (the Perth-Kalgoorlie Prospector version of such type of DMUs)

These DMUs can never reach 250km/h when I look at them for the first time. And, they are not METRO. If India wants some really economical choices for intercity rails like from Delhi to Agra, no more than 150-170km/h, I would suggest have a look at those extremely cheap trains in Tokyo, for example Keikyu railway from Tokyo to Yokohama.

In terms of China, CRRC has exported low-speed (160-200 km/h max.) DMUs or EMUs to Malaysia, Argentina and other countries.

Malaysia
