Alot of them think Gandhi as a traitor, a lot of them think that Nathuram Godse was a real hero. You can't just say they love Gandhi when in reality BJP has a majority government and have been bashing on Gandhi + nehru from time to time.

Lets not make dumb assertions here. Chechen terrorists at one point literally killed 186 children in a hostage situation!

It was Chechnya's own leader, the chief mufti, who defected to the Russian side with his militia the moment second war began. Now Chechnya is bustling with great beauty, economy and culture.

They have such an influence and power that their leader, Ramazan Kadyrov (son of that mufti), publicly announced that if the police of any other republik (moscow or elsewhere) is seen in Chechnya, chechen police will gun them down.

The Chechens weren't under oppression to begin with, their attempt to freedom was in reaction to another republic and the dissolution of the USSR.

There is hundreds of Chechen sportsmans that represent Russia at European Championship, World Championship and Olympic with Russian banner.

There is more then 50 BILLION OF DOLLARS invested in Chechnya since 2000. Even ethnic Russians attack Putin pro chechenian policies.
"You dont invest in Moscow as much in Caucasus" was a banner at anti Putin relies few years ago.

Chechen people earned 10500 dollars per year. That is near FIVE TIME more then Pakistan GDP per capita.

So tell me one reason, why should Chechen people (1 million strong) go to suicidal war with 150 mln strong, miltiary sophisticated Russian Federation?

They have autonomy, religion freedom, Kadirov acts like Emir of Caucasus with unlimited power, and some PDF members wish them hell like in Second Chechen War while they stay behind computer.
