No amount of defense spending will be matter, IF a subservient regime is in power. are you still in doubt on that?
This is far too much for a revenue starved country like BD.
BD should aim to get to 2% by 2020 and that should be fine to dominate Myanmar.

@ I think, our present Defense strength is Ok. Only thing needs more sophistication. More one or two Divisions are needed to raise for Myanmar front. For the last 30 years our Army has developed a lot to UN Mission. Many armaments had been bought due to the requirement in UN Mission areas.
