What if Military took Over USA ? Discussion

I have to agree with that. Honestly they could cut it down. As someone else mentioned perpetual war is important to maintain as that’s how defense companies live which in turn requires enormous spending which could be cut to reduce the national debt...but no one’s going to take Eisenhower’s warning about the MIC.

.
But what is the outcome , just few rusted ships , in ocean , and soldiers living away from families for no reason at all seems very illogical in my humble opinion

I think most US soldiers must wonder this themselves why they ....blip are they in middle of no where

Trump eats his meal every day with his family

The unnecessary patrolling actually is disturbing world peace

.
For The New World Order ofcourse

Also I would suggest you watch the video series "The Arrivals" if you want some clarity on these topics. Also if you're interested in illuminati Freemasons end times etc.

Hey @Nilgiri what a great thread! :D

Dayum...oh wait its this OP guy again. undertakerwwe's mentor I call him. Though there is sometimes an all too brief glimmer of light and truth from him.....so it stands out all the more when it happens (though its often fed back to me by others, coz I honestly can't be bothered to look anymore).

Not here though of course. Whoo conspiracy theories!...and theres even the "repressed goy" feelz too!

You can always see the movie 7 Days in May starring Kirk Douglas.
Air Force General James Mattoon Scott tries to take over the US by overthrowing the President. The movie is still available on YouTube:

How long before the Indus Valley Civilization Crew shows up here to stage a counter-attack on the second favorite target? :D

Relevant to this thread, why is it so hard so for the green-goggled khaki-uniformed rah-rah-oom-pah-pah brigade to understand that the military actually is subservient to the civilian higher authorities, and not the other way around?

Cool, somebody who actually knows where the term MIC originated and its implications. Most people assume it came from a left wing commentator or activist.

What is simply not in the national culture of a people will never come to pass.

So why US has to burn 500 Billion , each year very excessive waste of funding

So why does the PLA spent money on weapons and ships then? So if it's the US you question why and if it's the other side it's all huray is that it!?

@VCheng grandpa, Pakistanis (in country) seem to have forgotten that Pakistan was ruled by the MILITARY for most of their history after 47. So it is okay for them to get ruled by the military. Just my two cents of thought.

Its 2am here in the Garden State! I just finished the laundry. Good night people!

.
it will never happen in u.s as there is no such intervention in their 200yrs history if it happens it will remove u.s as a a top power .Military rule cannot make country strong

It is okay for the military to rule the people in Pakistan, and laugh all the way to the bank, as do the civilians, but the people's misery multiplies steadily no matter who is in power. PDF of course promotes selective amnesia when it comes to the deeds of the military.

While 'What if' scenarios are fun to engage in, each scenario should -- not must -- a better than %50 odds of possibility.

In using the word 'possibility' and not 'probability', I mean there should be influential factors inside the scenario that will make the scenario a possibility before it can become a probability.

In this 'What if' scenario that the US military can take over the country, the first influential factor must be the US Constitution legally rendered ineffective. Of all the constitutions in the world, the US Constitution have been proven to be the most resilient to change. So if this first factor cannot be done, it is not even a possibility that the US can become a military dictatorship.

Of all the constitutions in the world, the US Constitution have been proven to be the most resilient to change.

Yup, its the only law system (as seen by body of common law decision by SCOTUS and some of the finest written works/commentary by its most notable past members) that has grounded itself on the basis of US constitution having inalienable, pre-existing rights (that precede the govt and are thus absolutely sacrosanct) invested in the individual.

It is the only country in the world anchored this way (and largely explains why the 1st and 2nd amendment only exist in the US and nowhere else)....the rest of the worlds countries at some level have enough power invested into govt to take away those fundamental (pre-existing to govt) rights by political process (just the difficulty and circumstances needed vary).

It is pity very few Americans actually truly know about this and the value of it. Hence the resilience that you mention given this anchoring rather than be set adrift at some level to the currents and flows and rely on the captains and chorus knowing what they are doing.

@Joe Shearer @VCheng @Hamartia Antidote @James Jaevid @RabzonKhan

. .
The second amendment is there for a reason. It is to protect the average American against the tyranny of their government (if need be).

Then there is a myth of "special forces underground" and the pact with JFK of some USSF members that is now passed down the line.

US has the highest number of small arms.

I don't think it is possible.
