I must admit I was excited in the early days, visions of revolution and toppling of the Hindutva government giving me a warm buzz.

But really India is ill prepared for civil strife and the instability that will follow in the present moment in time.

We are still at war, and good bad or ugly, this is our elected government.

I would like if anybody can make a thread on possible mishandling of Dehli of farmers protest. I pray the 90s situation doesn't come back.

It will be a good for Pakistan as both Kashmir and Punjab would be against Dehli, however I am not praying that would happen as there will be civilian losses like in the 90s.

As Modi is arrogant and stubborn so he is highly unlike to retrieve farmers laws. The star image has made him infallible, ruthless and inhuman (that thing is not new though, e.g. 2002).

As today's dialogue has failed too, so I am seeing situation erupting.

Possible outcomes:
1. Another 'chivalry' by India so that farmers goes back to homes as war preparation needs open road.
2. Clash between farmers and protesters which may result either way.

So my Question is Islamabad prepared?

Firs of all I want that if somebody crosses this time, never return him to Dehli like 1990. Hand him over to UN or let him go Canada etc to seek asylum.
Also, if there is civil unrest in Punjab, how Pak should respond? I mean politically and military.? I am not supporting any war, but Hindutva ideology should be rebuffed in one way or other.

In summary Pak should be prepared for all possible outcomes so nothing can be a surprise and delay the opportunity.

Fun fact: there was an oil company who wrote an internal paper how to manage a sudden oil shortage (possibly due to Mussadaq nationalisation). Then came first oil embargo, that company took out that paper, applied the suggestion and got multiple times richer while everyone was still scratching their head (heard it in a seminar)

No, it won't, and for a variety of reasons.

It's only (mostly) in Punjab.
It is only the farmers.
There is no ethnic strife or resentment toward others by the Sikhs.
This is not a Sikh movement either, they just have great visibility because, well.. Punjab.

Forget the Kisan protest, Pak have no scope here, no scope in the north east either, definitely none in Tamil Nadu... Kashmir is the only place they can cause problems, and have been forever.. but with the scrapping of 370 and new elections.. even that is slipping away.
