Is there a confirmed Source for this news ? I have also heard that UAEAF might go for the F-18 SH or Rafale(this might seem more of an obvious choice). In that case, what would happen if US again refuses to let UAEAF to train Pakistani pilots for the F-18 SH ? Also has PAF enough training experience using the Rafale ?

UAE has not cancelled any order they operate 80 block-60 F16 minus 1 crashed in 2006. Pakistani pilots already had introductory training on F18 when they were planning to accquire air superiority fighters however PAF doctrine is still scaled back on multi role fighters. And most likely Pakistan will go for Russian Sukhoi or Chinese FC-20 when it comes to twin jet. Both are being evaluated as of now.

judging by the amount of grief we got from the Russians for the use of RD-93 Engines in JF-17 thunder, forgive me if I would not even think about Sukhois.

best bet is some variants for JF-17s and discarded mirages by other countries that are upgrading their airforces with Rafale, Typhones or F-18s etc.

They are still safe haven for all the loot of Nawaz Shariff & Bros as well the billions they have invest India while their pockets for Pakistan only open to fund jihad and terrorism.

Doctrines are needed in one sided releations. Straight forward countries means business. USA is the powerhouse of democracy and China is yet far from that while India claims to be world largest democracy however the world business favour runs towards China many folds more than India. It all comes down to productivity and delivery. Doctrines are needed as scapegoats and one sided releations. Like Russians needed their soviet mantra to occupy countries, the Nazi's needed with supereme race hypocrisy, The British thought their royal family to rule the world.

You are misguided if you think Business is the only thing which brings countries together..If it was not EU's good relations with each other..Germany shouldn't have bothered to spend their own money to bail out Greece out of their crisis..They could have easily got rid of Greece by kicking them out of EU for not adhering to financial expenses guidelines as set under EU rules..But it was a doctrine and Brotherhood that kept them together,not just business.

Pakistani pilots do fly the F15s and during the crippling military embargo on Pakistan, PAF pilots were in Gulf states flying their F-16s. it was more of a mutual benefit. If there was any religious brotherhood then that was a bonus.

I really doubt, the part that says the F16 deal was cancelled by UAE,though we know for sure that the deal was inked in 2003 after some tension between US and UAE regarding the sharing of source code.

A point to be noted:
- the arabis do not accecpt special passports issued to residents of AJK therefore only Kashmiris who are able to work in arabi land is those who have obtained regular Pakistani passport through family connections / wasta / bribery

- A prayer for liberation in annual ramadan dua's was taken off upon the request of Indian gov under banner of "improving releations". While such prayers do not serve any purpose it does clarify a symbolic link of brotherhood.

- The special love is again for business purpose, who can work tough jobs in the middle east heat other than Pukhtoon, Baluchis and Punjabis?? who are used to such tough labour in their homeland.

- Arabis wanted the training Pakistanis wanted the hands on experience. A match made but still nothing to do with brotherhood.

- Despite our love and affection for our arabi brothers, their forigen policy has always treated us as a "renegade" and "sore thumb" nations which must be dealt with and tactically bought under pressure. The biggest threat to Arabis by their own offical doctrine is a moderate Pak-Iran-Turk strategic alliance which would evade arabis self professed "guardian of islam" status. The thread was about PAF's foreign credentials.Not about downgrading Arabs to less than a piece of cow dung.

What relation USA has with Arabs?
USA is the biggest manufacturer and exporter of weapons and military hardware in the world.They need buyers and markets around the world...They did come to rescue Arabs against Saddam Hussein,but don forget that for each bullet the Arabs paid at least 5 times the normal export price,and the payments are still going on.

Madressas dont have just the religious factor,they have a very important social aspect which most people fail to realize.
