What countries are China's major allies?

The simple fact is... China and pakistan are more than friends - they are brothers! We have a very special and unique relationship which most countries would die for! There is mutual respect and trust on both sides.
Some countries only use each other as and when they want and are only 'allies' when it suits them and then they move on to the next 'ally' (mentioning no names!). Others are only allies at government level...
E.g. The Japanese/american are 'allies'...The governments may have a good relationship but the people of japan don't want their 'ally' to have any of their forces on it's soil!
In contrast, China and Pakistan have a very good relationship not only at government level but even at people level! Every pakistani is proud to have china as a true friend and wishes the best for china. And as far as i know, its the same feeling over at china!

Go to Pakistan in public and I KNOW how much Pakistanis admire Indians. I'm talking about the average Pakistani. Same goes for Indians on Pakistan. Don't butt in Chinese because they supply YOUR GOVERNMENT with arms etc etc. Pakistan is culturally connected with India. You cannot tear that.

Bollywood. Cricket. Food. Clothing. Arts.

I am totally surprised by the jealousy i am reading in these posts, towards china!

Just wanted to clarify couple of things...

1) Everyone in the world knows and accepts that china is a rising superpower! It is inevitable and it is only a matter of time before china will overtake the USA and become the new superpower. This is in spite of china not having any 'true' friends/allies, as according to quite afew of you on here! Even the close allies(USA, India, Russia, Japan etc) collectively are unable to currently stop china in its tracks. This only goes to show how good china really is! So, you guys should actually credit china and learn from it, instead of being jealous!

2) Quite afew people are trying to portray that China and Pakistan are not 'genuine' friends/allies and they are only using each other.

This is a fact and no one can change that. So, get over yourselves and cut the BS and stop trying to portray we are not true friends. You can try and divide us with your propoganda as much as you like but NOTHING will ever change our friendship so get used to it!

Can you tell me what they think of Bahraini's, Spanish, Italian then? It's foreign to Pakistan. SO ARE CHINESE TO PAKISTAN. Go to punjab middle of streets, ask a nearby store manager. Hey, what do you think of China? Does he know anything about China?!?

I agree that China is developing very fast and there is no doubt China may become one of the super power in the future.
And why India/USA/Russia/Japan etc. etc. would want to stop China. This is a destructive thinking friend. Do you think that these coutries trade with China to stop its growth?? Mate, nobody is doing that. China is actually too powerful to be contained.
And yes there is a lot to be learnt from everything. From an Indian prospective, we can sure learn few things from China.

Everyone knows about China-Pakistan friendship. It is undisputed that Pakistan is the "best" ally of China. However I guess other countries have also their very good allies. For example, India-Russia friendship. This is a rare example when a country sent a warship for other!! But it is offtopic.
But mutual interest is also a most important part of this. This is the reason why countries tend to appoach each other. India's (or world's other nations) alliance are based on this (including Russia).
So I am all for nice China-XYZ (any nation) friendship.

This is not about the pakistani public not liking anyone other than the chinese! So please stop going off topic.
After all this thread is about China's major allies. Alot of you were trying to undermine the relationship between China and Pakistan and i felt i had to clarify the facts! We love people of all nationalities who are decent!

For the record, yes i have watched some bollywood films (though i was persuaded by othrs and didnt really have a say in the matter as majority rules etc! lol) but i can honestly say i hate bollywood movies. I can never come to terms with the concept where they show people going about their daily lives and out of the blue they all break into a song and dance!! It always makes me laugh
Anyway, if you want to know more about my likes/dislikes of bollywood films or about pakistani perception of indians then please start another post!!
