What China could learn from Japan's experience

Nonsense.

In fact I find your allegations against Xi Jinping offensive and ill informed.

Antagonizing neighbours? Like who? The Japs and the Viets will always be unhappy, its been like that since imperial times. They have delusions of grandeur well above their punching weight. With the landmass and number of neighbours that share a common boundary, China is actually doing very well diplomatically. Compared with India where neighbouring countries see shining Bharat as a strutting and badly behaved bully with nary a virtue to admire.

Reform is systematic and piecemeal, the political and economic inertial of the past decades cannot be unraveled instantly. Only a child can expect to see change unfold without having to wait.

There is a check to power of the communist party. The Chinese people. Fcuk up too many times and the spectre of revolution and rebellion will emerge like an unstoppable force. Lastly, the approval rating for the communist party in China is the highest in the world topping 80 percent when I last read. Far better than the tenuous holding of the BJP who had to biribe vote banks with cheap saris and sandals to win the election in the first place.

Casting pearls before the swines is waste of energy and time... so advises the Way.

Clear the muddy waters by leaving them alone....

Many wish for China to collapse...but they do not realise that China is now the driver of the global growth. Not the US or EU or JP.... Even good old Soros has admitted it.

So if China collapses everyone gets to burn... the deep envy and jealousy of some peoples is understandable. But pigs never fly unless a Chinese company creates a new variety!

@cnleio has a very valid point of concern... however, I believe the issue is at the top of agenda of reforms as well.

Transition to next stage of development is not easy...but China knows how to manage the paradoxes.

I do expect some hickups but sadly we will disapoint all ill wishers of China once again.

We must learn to appologise for this disappointment to China haters.

Sorry, China haters, your sick wishes can not come true!
