Parda Hai Parda is better to hear and brings back good memories of the late Rishi Kapoor.

Kitni Akeli in modern music sounded better and also loved the hairstyle of the same woman.

Kitni Akeli in modern music sounded better and also loved the hairstyle of the same woman.

Good observation.

And the club setting reminds me of two songs :

1. 'Udi Teri Aankhon Se' from the film Guzaarish. Other than nice singing and music the actors have acted well.

2. 'Kaisi Paheli Zindagani' from the film Parineeta.

Two of my favorite Hindi songs :

1. 'Roz Shaam Aati Thi Magar Aisi Na Thi'. Signature beats of the duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal :

a. Performed by Nishtha Sharma in The Voice India Kids in 2016. Wonderful musicians.​

b. Performed by Priyanka Mitra in 2018. Again, wonderful support from the musicians.​

c. The original song from the film Imtihaan. The first comment is this :
“PRELUDE”:: 0.15 seconds, TWEETING of BIRDS, Than GUITAR glimpses starts, FRENCH HORN (0.34 to 0.44), IRANI SANTOOR ( till 0.55) and then Lataji’s ‘alalap’ till 1.06 and the “pause”…giving the feel of ‘sunset’. Just brilliant. It sets the mood of the song. Powerful “RHYTHM” of ‘BONGO / KONGA DRUMS” and it’s “PAUSES”. Lataji stops after singing ‘roj sham aati thi’ (1.11…1.14) just listen to the “rhythm”, again at 1.16 ….1.19…This gives an “ear-pleasing” moment to listen to the rhythm only. You will again find such “pauses” in the song. “INTERLUDES”:- Both the interludes are beautifully decorated in western style orchestra arrangements with use of VIOLINS, CELLOS, IRANI SANTOOR and FRENCH HORN. Not to forget to listen to the mind-boggling “POSTLUDE”.. The song is written by Majarooh Sultanpuri. The unique combo of Lata Mangeshkar and Laxmikant-Pyarelal have given many memorable songs in sixties ( closed to 179 songs). It was also expected to deliver the best in seventies too. The song is popular even today. On the top of everything the 'Chemistry' of Lata Mangeshkar and Laxmikant-Pyarelal did the miracle again."​

2. 'Jab Bhi Yeh Dil Udaas Hota Hai' :

a. The original song from the 1971 film Seema.

b. Performed by the Pakistani singer Khalid Baig and his female co-singer ( whose name I don't know ) on the Pakistani channel Geo News.​

Yes, she is.

And maybe you will find the below song interesting. The region it is set in is the Indian state of Goa which used to be ruled by the Portuguese and so you will find in the song influence of Fado music. The film too is a nice one, about mercy killing :
