What Are You Listening to Right Now - Round 2

.

Remove Kebab songs from Serbia despite I am Kebab, I mean I am big fan of Yugoslav Turbo Folk from the wars in the 90s

. . . . . .

Classic !!

Yup, a most melodious singer. IMO, Yesudas could give him run for his money on melodious, but he did not get much opportunities in Bollywood.

Yes about Yesudas.

Two other singers who were not used more were Mahendra Kapoor and Bhupinder Singh

One by Bhupinder Singh - "Ek adhoori si mulaqaat hui thi jinse".

Quoting from his Wikipedia entry, songs of his that I like :
  • Kisi Nazar Ko Tera Intezar Aaj Bhi Hai, composed by Bappi Lahiri
  • Hoke Majboor Mujhe Usne Bulaya Hoga, composed by Madan Mohan
  • Dil Dhoondta Hai, composed by Madan Mohan
  • Naam Gum Jayega, composed by Rahul Dev Burman
  • Ek Akela Is Shaher Mein, composed by Jaidev
  • Baadalon se Kaat Kaat ke from the movie Satya (1998) (composed by Vishal Bharadwaj)
  • "Kabhi Kisi Ko Mukammal Jahan nahi milta" from the movie Ahista Ahista (1981) composed by Khayyam
  • “Rut Jawan Jawan” from the movie Aakhri Khat composed by Khayyam

One from the above list "Baadalon se kaat kaat ke".

This is a travel song and also one of those songs one puts on when relaxing on a sunny roof, with part body in shade and part in the sun.

By the way, this film is one of many directed by Basu Chatterjee who directed realistic films that the average middle class person could relate to.

Another re-made song from the same film - "O hansini".

Hansini means female swan.

This is the original.

Certainly will never go out of date.Kudos Gents

"Indeed !!
