I am an outcast so nothing changes

I think any country would be lucky to have folks like them as citizens and yes the country would be developed and then some too if a good portion of ppl were like them.

I just say what i feel is right some may dislike me for that so be it you dont look to the underdeveloped past for problems of the future occasionally you just have to do something NEW for a change

I do feel the platters improved on it (again the backing vocals were crucial) and gave the ultimate apex to this classic.

It sounds more like an upbeat kind of breakup song(still very good) while the ink spot version had this depressing brokenhearted touch to it which kind of give a soul to the lyrics of this song

BTW the tune comes from an earlier French/Romanian song:
