beautiful song... moody, lazy, goes on and on... rahman sir toh chaah gaye.

i liked that film "delhi-6" because it speaks about some of the unnecessary issues in india and i liked the reality of bringing in the "monkey man" scare of that time.

in it i also liked aditi rao hydari. and also the rishi kapoor track.

another song from it i rather like is "masakalli"... it is a political song calling for people to release themselves from bondage of traditions and uses the metaphor of the pigeon to deliver the message...

and the song must be difficult to sing as parts of it are continuous.

another a.r. rahman song i much like is "khuda hafiz" from the nice film "yuva" ( which again has a political theme )...

due to his passing, I'm listening to a bit of David Bowie at the moment.
I'd like to offer a nearly unknown album of his : 20 Bowie Rares.
I don't know if it will be easy to find on-line; I've had my copy for a long time ...
it's a strange dark acrylic / vinyl circle as big as a main dish plate!

If nothing else ( ludicrous, all songs are good ), check out the English translation
he made on that record of Jacques Brel's Amsterdam.
