Some how United State, I think, is the stupidest country in the history of the world. She's paying for Iraq's securities and now paying Afghan's also. It doesn't make sense. Thank god I'm not a US citizen otherwise I'll be paying for something the rest of my live for I don't know what.

yeah , it's called being a superpower. to protect it's interests and safe guard it's citizens. The stupid country gets more billions in trade back , making it not only a net positive but it also is " stupid" enough to enjoy a global strategic spot. One of which is in your backyard. did I complicate it too much for you?

At the end of the day it's us who will pay the bill. With more than $16 trillion in debts and a trillion dollars annually in interest alone, there are not much room to maneuver for government spending. All our state, city and local municipalities are broke and have no money to spend on welfare, healthcare and food for the poor. Many even use their employees pension plan to pay for their salaries. A few of them are already in bankruptcy proceedings and more to come.

Even though America's economies show signs of picking up, but I'm afraid that's not enough.

It's half time in America, you do have the option to go back to China? Just imagine how much greener it is on the other side. We'll be fine , trust me!

good it means that USA will not leave afgan untill 2014,huge opportunity for India to get engage in afgan with full force.
TIT for TAT whenever someone entity from pakistan try some misadventure in kashmir,we should give equal response in balochistan.

We tried more than 10 years ago against the arrogant trio of Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld but to no avail. Our leaderships simply love love the feeling of hegemonic supremacy too much on the expenses of the people. It is the same with your politicians and the politicians of other nations as well.

That's a good amount and $500 mln from our side would make it 4.6 a very good budget for training and equipment of 250,000 ANA,AAF and ANP!

1 more thing that now USA will be paying Afghanistan more than Israel!

Nope! They won't be adequate by a long shot! Because once the Yanks leave, at least 200,000 Afghans from the security forces would desert King Karzai. That leaves 30,000 which is peanuts!
