WeChat keeps banning Chinese Americans for talking about Hong Kong

So how does that matter? If China says I'm not supposed to bring drugs in and somebody in China asks me to mail it to them and I say "No" then how can you argue I'm in the wrong?
You are getting too cerebral towards the subjects of the state ;)

Chinese users who just want to follow/get latest news of stars on Facebook & Twitter never worry about being banned.

Obviously the real reason for those got banned is pro-China views, not anything else.

According to you, all Chinese accounts should be banned, not just some of us should be treated in this way.

I feel your double standard.

According to you, all Chinese accounts should be banned, .

I'm pretty sure that is what the Chinese government would want.
However they too are a bit hypocritical.

Why I’ll never use Chinese social media platforms. Can’t be trusted. The other reason is that they ban other social media platforms in China.

YouTube is a private platform and has the right to kick you out. Free speech laws apply to only government censorship. You can peddle you’re 9/11 BS elsewhere, they’re plenty of other platforms.
Selective policy.... Double standard, American speciality....

A totalitarian Communist dictatorship is banning topics it doesn’t like? I’m shocked

Chinese social media is not a hotbed for rumors which was used to stir up riots, civil wars and social disturbances around the globe.
