Canada is a huge land area nation with a light population and has a very open door policy toward immigrants from overseas.

The US as you read daily in the media is incurring too much social overhead which illegal immigration has heavily contributed to, especially in radical increases of the cost to us as taxpayers for Medicare.

Obama has proposed to both cut our senior coverate in Medicare (I am almost 72) to try to spread the money around to basically a combination of illegal immigrants...in Medicaid use costs...and to pay for health insurance millions of existing young US citizens choose not to spend their money for, instead using our emergency rooms at our hospitals...running up the deficit in Medicaid.

Illegal immigrants can't legally vote.

Lazy younger Americans who can afford but deliberately do not now pay for their own health insurance can vote and are coddled by Obama, who could well loose his re-election bid.

President Bush favored a structured earn and pay costs of and for naturalization process, which I liked. But many voters, Democratic and Republican did not and do not like the Bush Immigrant Plan, which Senator McCains still favors as a active US Senator in Washington from the immigration troubled state of Arizona.

You need to know that legitimate Hispanics in our voting population do not, repeat not, favor easy immigration outcomes for illegal immigrants. These Hispanics in Florida were the edge that elected Rubio to the US Senate.

The US remains a free enterprise republic not a semi-socialized high tax and spend nation as is typical in Europe. You can tell us all what the tax and spend status is in Canada...I know you have nationalized health care and my cousins who are Canadian tell me the do not like waiting lists and limited coverages.

I understand that a lot of non whites see the immigration issue as a race issue...this couldn't be further from the truth. an ILLEGAL is exactly what it is. clear like night and day... you break the law then you shouldn't be getting any kind of special treatments regardless of how dire your situastion is.

the vast majority of working class/ middle class whites are now pushing back. US politics will only get more difficult, there are 300 millions people.. it is hard enough to get 10 people in a room to agree in 1 things let alone millions of different groups to come together.

as for canada, out immgration polices while its seem llient in comparison to most countries, we don;t have millions of people flooding our borders. we do however pay much more taxes than the average American. Canadians I know overwhelmingly love our health care system. Its pretty trivial to me to hear Americans laughing at Canada health care system. No Canadian have to choose between food and health care. yes there are 'flaws" and inefficiency, but overall most people I know a happy with health care and are willing to pay the taxes for it.

Trump himself is the laughing stock of the world...............this guy is such a attention seeking ****. International politic is not some TV show you know......... I hope American would elect him just to say "you're fired" soon after.

All that he implies is the he would have a tougher and more aggressive foreign policy if he became President and boldly go where Obama wont.

Thank you for your opinions. We of course disagree as to facts vs. fantasy statements. The 2012 elections will hopefully more clearly sort out US voter opinion, which I think my comments correctly reflect at this time. The recent US House of Representatives elections reflect the views I have long held and believe are accurate.

President Bush's daughter in law is Hispanic, making his nephew half Hispanic. US Senator Jeff Sessions of Mobile, Alabama son in law is Chinese America. America continues to be a melting pot, but of legal not illegal fame of how ancestors came to the shores of the USA.

US political viewpoints and opinions come from the greatest democracy and greatest republic in world history. We are far from perfect but the struggle to do the best we can is commendable...and our role model if you will drives hopes and aspirations from freedom and some form of democracy in other parts of the world.

Where the world is short sighted are in the poorerst African nations, where literally millions of people, men, women, and children have been murdered in inane religious wars in places like Darfur, Sudan, and Somalia, to name several. In those places Muslims are slaughtering Muslims, not to mention Christians, too.

Freedom of religion is still a major worldwide need in my singular opinion. Even those who choose no religion have a right to be left alone if that is their predeliction. I of course am a Christian who believes in separation of church and state and prefer a secular governance system. We all from varous national backgrounds are what we were raised as, at least initially, in terms of both geopolitics and religious affiliations. Then we are freely subject to choice of future thought and belief processes as free men and women. Those who profess otherwise include the murdering violent Taliban as backed by the al Qaida, who to me are heretics to all religions in terms of stone age, backward, and punitive, by force if you will, attempts to violently force others to accept their bent points of view.
