BDeshis won over india srilanka, because they were tired from CW series, pakistan had a long series against england, pakistan had pressure to perform because of obvious reasoons, i can tell you, this bangla team is nothing is just a mennow, its a cats roar because it has seen too much rats in its dream

Wow, that was some match! Honestly I actually felt extremely proud to see a fellow Muslim country at the top. Although I would have to say the hero's of this tournament was Bangladesh not Pakistan. Bangladesh's cricket are new comers (only been playing professionally for five years). They earned the number two spot in such a short time and finally they defeated India, the current world cup holder in the semi finals (where we Pakistanis failed). If Bangladesh is not the star of the tournament then I don't know who is.

Anyway congratulations Bangladesh, make both of our countries proud and hope to see you rise further in the future.

I watched the match against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka played well but they knew that they do not have a chance in the final. India scored very well total. But India's bowling quality went down due to absence of Harbajan Singh and Zaheer Khan. Irfan Pathan came after long time of absence, so I would not say that he was a world class bowler. But then though India and this srilanka team beat Australia in a tri-nation tournament in Australia. So beating them is not a laughing matter. Pakistan has some world class players. If Pakistan continues to develop the way they are doing, then I see great future for them in next world cup in 2015. And my country Bangladesh, they have improved tremendously, Alhamdulillah. Good batting is the result of Bangladesh t20 tournament, where international leveled players took place. I am not taking away anything from SL or India or Pakistan or Bangladesh. Bangladesh lost because of poor bowling. Anyway, Alhamdulillah the tournament went well and our young bangladeshi players surely learned a lot. May Allah help them and all his servants. Insh Allah we will surprise the world in the next world cup in 2015. Best of luck to all!

I didn't got excited, my father do got excited on Pakistan win but i want Bangladesh to win...and why i spell incorrectly because its my keyboard error when i type very fast some words get mixed up....I wanted to congratuylate BANGLADESH BROTHERS. I was seriously hoping to see Bangladesh raising a cup today.

This is a message which many Pakistani sites and blogs are passing today. "Bangladesh, dont cry, we might have won the trophy but you have won our hearts, younger brother !"

I do not know about Bangladeshis but Pakistanis do support Bangladeshis brothers over any other team except Pakistan...I have seen joys and excitement on Bangladesh win on the streets of Pakistan....Bangladesh there is still some connection which we Pakistanis feel for you in our hearts.
